Correct me if I am wrong. But I thought official doctrine was that the governments would attack and destroy religion then see that JWs were still there and as they attacked the JWs Jehovah would start Armageddon. If I am correct how can JWs be attacked first?

Although I do cringe sometimes with what Trump says. I support the wall, a strong border wall, a limit on Muslims as they do not assimilate to our culture, and no gun control. But at the same time I agree with what Mayor Ed Koch said. "if you agree with me 70% of the time vote for me, if you agree with me 100% of the time seek help" I disagree with the right on national health care. We IMO need a NHC system. Its long over due. I agree to a point to keep abortion legal, what NY did was criminal. Partial birth and birth abortion is murder. But the left has gone so crazy I just can not vote for them. Maybe if Joe Manchin was running.

Since when does a slave appoint itself over anything???
by Roger Kirkpatrick inat matthew 24:45, where jesus discussed the faithful and discreet slave, he gave only two identifying features of that slave.
(1) providing the master’s domestics food at the proper time; and, (2) after having done so, being appointed by the master himself over all the master’s belongings.. since current watchtower teaching is that the appointment over all the master’s belongings is yet future and that such appointment is to be made by the master himself, how does the governing body of jehovah’s witnesses account for the fact that it has preemptively identified itself as that faithful and discreet slave?.
surely there remains among believing jws some who can discern the problem with this teaching!

the may 2019 wt has defiantly and arrogantly been released by the gb, and it is full of their disgusting excuses for not complying with authorities!.
(i have seen and read all the articles, but cant work out how to upload a link here - perhaps someone can assist?).

I skimmed the article and it seemed like they were saying if a publisher or elder wants to go to the police its OK but for the congregation to take action as to the good standing of the abuser they need two witnesses. Did I miss something?
