  i see this phrase a lot: "the indication of a cult is what happens when you leave.

  " i'm not sure where that originated, but it is a faulty categorization.

  "cult" is almost always used in a derogatory way.

"Cult" is almost always used in a derogatory way. Branch Davidians were a cult. As were the Heaven's Gate people. As were the Manson Family.
  
  Jehovah's Witnesses are not a cult. Even when the religion was organized completely differently and had Russell, Rutherford, and Knorr as the President/CEO, those men weren't "worshipped", so to speak.
  
  Jehovah's Witnesses are a high control religious group. Plain and simple. I think it is important to know the difference.

  It is satisfying to relish in the demise of a creep like Lloyd. But the reality of it is that he is a very dangerous person. He will continue to try re-inventing himself, leaving more hapless victims in his wake. Until the day he dies he will be on a relentless mission to glorify his own precious ego while blocking out any and all criticism. His number one directive is to protect, at all costs, his fake, carefully-curated, self-aggrandized persona. True dissonance at its very best. May God have mercy on his soul.

  My guess is that this never aired. It was just filmed on the news set to appear like a real news piece. And I would guess that the anchor, Robyn Zimmerman, did this as a favor to someone, or maybe even a high-paying client, who is associated with Witnesses. WHHI isn't a traditional terrestrial TV station. It's considered a low-power station, with virtual channels that may or may not be picked up by a cable provider.

  i remember him on this site when he was called cedars and had jw survey.. straightaway i noticed he could not accept suggestions.. the time i knew he was dangerous was when his group aawa added people to their fb group without their permission and were outed.. he refused to close the fb page (whilst celebrating 1300 members joining in a few days).

  one member complained and was subsequently disfellowshipped, which could easily have been avoided.. three week's after launching, the fb page was closed down.

  from that moment i knew james lloyd evans was dangerous.. when did you realise he not good?.

  A bank manager was training a group of new bank employees. The lesson for the final day of training was "How To Tell the Difference Between Real and Counterfeit Money". On the morning of this final training, the bank manager led the group of trainees into the large bank vault, then turned around and walked out of the vault, closed it, and locked it. The trainees were confused but thought surely the manager would return shortly and give them more direction. Hours and hours passed. The trainees were downright angry that they had now spent the entire day locked in the bank vault. Finally at 4:30pm, the manager unlocks the vault and walks in. Immediately the trainees start clamoring and demanding an explanation. "We thought you were going to teach us about counterfeit money today! Instead you just left us in here all day with nothing to do!" The bank manager says, "I DID teach you about counterfeit money today. I locked you in here with all of the bank's money. You see, when you've been around the real thing long enough, it's easy to spot a fake."

  Lloyd reminds me of someone I dated years ago that taught me the meaning of narcissism. They will commit the most atrocious acts imaginable and still find a way to feel sorry for themselves and spin the narrative as if they are the victim. It's absolutely mind-boggling.
