by RULES & REGULATIONS inanyone that is/was a dedicated jehovah's witness knows that the worship of the ''faithful and discreet slave'' is the only relationship we know.i don't remember having a personal relationship with jehovah without the governing body being in the way.they make all the rules on every matter.anyone who thinks that jehovah has any control on your daily matters is a fool.jehovah's witnesses only answer to an organization!.

- Step 1 - When this individual asks a question that you consider to be personal and unnecessary for work make the comment "Wow, that's personal" and say nothing else. Unless this person is deficient in emotional intelligence, that should be the end of the conversation.
- Step 2 - If that didn't work and this person again begins to pry, look them directly in the eye and state that " I don't feel comfortable talking about my personal life in a professional setting." This will remind him of where you both are at and will establish that he has crossed a boundary and should retreat from that position.Again, this only works if this individual has the EQ to realize that his inquires are unacceptable in a professional environment.
- Step 3 - At this point you need to make a decision: is this person genuinely trying to be friendly and failing at the attempt, or are they attempting to use their position to potentially bully you for information? If you believe it's the former, have a brief conversation with them in a private area where you bluntly, but politely, inform them that you have no desire to extend your social / religious relationship beyond this boundary. Use the "it's nothing against you" line if you have to but ensure that they understand that you aren't going to be anything more than co-worshippers .

The decision to appeal will mean that you have to go through another JC with 6 heavies now - Possibly a long session too. Are you emotionally up to that ?
As has been mentioned the Over-turn rate is very low !
The appeal committee is hand-picked by the CO and if the Circuit is composed of idiots and sociopaths [High rate of that too] - you are dead before you begin -
Also you have read elsewhere on this forum regarding the keeping of personal notes etc - Well many of the idiots I had to sit with on JC's interpreted that as don't make any notes at all in the JC - so in the appeal they are now relying on their memories ! It is human nature to review information in our heads and then enhance and embellish or re-arrange "facts' as we perceive it to be - and in the appeal this is how it is now often articulated -
Its a flawed arrangement !

by Calebs Airplane inthey're obviously getting rid of the rags, drastically reducing printing of books in general, eliminating special pioneers, etc., etc.. ... what could they possibly need a 1.6 million square feet compound for (not including outside space) in the middle of nowhere?.
just to put things into perspective, 1.6 million square feet is equal to the square footage of roughly twelve (12) costco warehouse clubs.

by The Rebel inmusic and art have been a big part of my life since i was a little boy, and although i was never able to play a decent guitar, i can paint.
my art teacher from college said " i was the most imaginative and constructive pupil she had ever had.
" i loved that comment, because in translation i realised it meant i had to work harder than other more naturally talented students, but the effort was always worth it.
