One of those defining moments
by Chook in2 years ago i'm at po house for bbq, his wife tells me about her hectic drive to work for one hour.
i suggest car pooling from other women who work in same area, she goes on to explain that having to spend 1 hour each way with worldy women would affect her spirituality.
there it is in its finest definition of christian loyalty .

Is this the last chance for inactive and df'd ones?
by innerpeace inhi all, just wondering if there's anything going around about the elders receiving instruction from the society to give inactive ones and disfellowshipped ones one last chance to come back?
i ask because i have a still in family member that i received a message from, and urging me to go back.
the elders are apparently saying there is no time left.

Happiness and Freedom On A Paradise Earth?
by Disassociated Lady 2 inat a recent meeting there was a watchtower article about life in paradise.
they were saying that even when witnesses finally get there they will still be under the strict instructions from the elders and gb.
they may be given jobs that they will find unpleasant, also the preaching work will be ongoing because of all the resurrected people who need to learn about why they are given another chance.

trey bundy hasn't been writing any articles re: jw's recently either.
i worry that he may have lost interest in our cause.

"Our Cause " I suppose is actually exactly that ! OUR's only and so it behoves us to take up the cudgels and do something about it ourselves - Like submitting articles to newspapers, blogging, facebooking etc
Media space is very precious and so it does require a lot of footslogging and door-knocking before someone will take up " our cause" -

My Day Is Over
by compound complex inmy day's long and arduous journey winds down.infinite night gracefully descends and takes me into herwelcomed embrace.. i have no reason to fear the inevitable,that transition into a higher andmore glorious state.
than allowed me upon thisbeautiful but angst-filledhabitation.. i rejoice in what has beenprepared from early on.i await the call .

The Sea
by compound complex inthe sea once held this youngster's heart within its mighty bosom.i loved and cherished the sea, stretching outward beyond infinity.
i took to the e'er dreary landscape, the dank surroundings soothing me, enveloping me in crawling mists that were more welcomed to me than the evaporating rays of a cavorting summer sun.i, however, am no longer that pensive lad who found comfort in the dark and cold and deep blue sea.
today, a man in the physical sense, i no longer possess that childlike fascination with my former abode.

I came back to the sea [Cape Town] after 30 years chasing my tail in the big city [Johannesburg] and after recovering from deep dark depression and fading from the jw completely - I find daily solace and empowerment between Mountain and Sea !
