I was indoctrinated into the belief that the JC was Holy Spirit led ....................so .....surely it not have taken place by hook or crook as the HS should have intervened "somehow"....not so ??

Judical committee flaws
by Chook inif an elder sitting in a jc has a secret sin of a serious nature, his rulings that took place while this sin was unknown are still binding.
in a court of law of most countries that would be a grounds for appeal.
regardless i know they are kangaroo courts ,where anyone who has any biblical knowledge knows they can't back up a scriptural reference for a three man tribunal.

Call for Judicial Hearing by signed letter
by sp74bb ini'm quite surprised about the new approach of some local congregation brothers respect about my fade.... funny, ilegal and very dangerous in view of the different laws regarding personal data and minorities in spain and in the eu.... i already organized a press meeting with main newspapers in spain.
many has shown interest in this situation.
the fact of that a parallel judicial system do exist is amazing them.

Hint / indicate that you intend to take Legal Counsel as the matter has some complexities -
Also hint / suggest that the lawyer would accompany you at any meetings with them AND that you will record the proceedings for purposes of Transparency.
Wife and I threatened with lawyers - and we have a lady counsel friend who is chomping at the bit to get involved - and they have yet to pursue us again - but we are totally shunned al the same [but not entirely by all ......very interesting developments in our case]
HQ wont be pleased with the fact that they sent a letter ! You have a black and white document now.
Meticulously record everything - written and verbal !!!
Where does the "lady" involved here feature in matters [IF you don't mind me asking that]? Is she your accuser?

Update: Got my Judicial Committee cancelled

update: so, after the meeting i had with elders a few weeks ago as outlined in my original thread, they met as a body and once again called to tell me that after considering my case they still thought a judicial committee should be held against me and asked to be there "thursday at 7:30".
all of this, i remind you, because of posting coc on facebook.

Memorial Services
by penny2 inall jw memorial services i've been to have been similar.
a couple of sentences about the deceased and then it's all about the religion.
very impersonal and scripted.

Yes that's about it!
Keep eulogising and open remarks about deceased to a minimum and personify the outline to make it sound like this is specifically what the deceased believed.
Absolutely boring - Unfortunately I had to attend a Memorial Service for my beloved M-in-L 3 weeks ago and although the speaker was very big friends with Gran he hardly made any mention of her truly magnificent record of "fine works" and acts of love toward her fellowman.
