Just the other day I read a post where a top-gun paedophile was jailed for 6-9 months and a homeless guy who stole a loaf of bread coz he was hungry 15 years in prison. Does not make sense to me but it is what it is.Everything is goin gto shit nowadays! I dont know anymore.

so it got me to wondering, when did the practice of three men (elders) having a hearing (or should we say trial) and passing judgment on a member start?
did the early bible students do this?

As far as I can go with this, I can only say that this was already in place in 1961 (I was not even born then).coz the shepherding/fleece the flock book of 1961 talks about this as if it is already in place. So it goes back as far as 1961.

This pic is close to my heart coz it touches me in so many ways.First off when I became pomo it says to me that my world as I see it from then on (me sitting on the bench looking out at the world) was blank,pure n white like a painters easel.Then on whatever I do, say and see should be my own colors and paints on my world not even a spot of anything to do with the jdumb mentality. This helped me remain positive.

Is it possible to nullify a baptism?

i was wondering within the organisation if there are any guidelines or grounds for nullifying a baptism.
see i grew up a jehovah's witness and was baptised at age 13, i didn't get baptised for the right reasons, i felt pressured to because my friends were getting baptised at the same time.

invalidating your baptism is a hard sell and difficult to prove. Even if you can prove that you were not technically valid for baptism at the time, I've seen the borg argue that your living as one baptised afterward proves that it was valid. I've also seen them pull out the "it was directed by Holy spirit so it must have been valid" card as well.They will talk from both sides of their... just to not let you off their clutches/power trip.
I have never heard of anyone credible successfully getting their baptism deemed invalid.

How can a building dedicated to God, be sold?

every single kingdom hall and bethel branch that has been sold was "dedicated to jehovah" by the watchtower corporation.
a special meeting with a guest speaker gives a talk and then offers a prayer dedicating the building to yhwh.
