Asa’s heart was complete with Jehovah all his life.—1 Ki. 15:14.

Each of us can examine his heart to see if it is fully devoted to God. Ask yourself, ‘Am I determined to please Jehovah, to defend true worship, and to protect his people from any corrupting influence?’ For example, what if someone close to you has to be disfellowshipped? Would you take decisive action by ceasing to associate with that person? What would your heart move you to do? Like Asa, you can show that you have a complete heart by fully relying on God when you are faced with opposition, even some that may seem insurmountable. You may be teased or ridiculed at school for taking a stand as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Or colleagues at work may taunt you for taking days off for spiritual activities or for not often working overtime. In such situations, pray to God, just as Asa did. (2 Chron. 14:11) Remain firm for what you know is right and wise. Remember that God strengthened and helped Asa, and He will strengthen you. w17.03 3:6-8

i haven't posted in years but i had to log in to share this story from my neck of the woods.

second generation jehobo witless sex offender is caught with child pornography one year to the day after being charged with lewd and lascivious behavior with a minor [i would link the article on his current arrest but it appears the article has been maliciously hacked with adult links in the text].

but here is what a good witness he is: "the tip came from the national center for missing and exploited children, who forwarded information provided to them by rabbit, inc., a file sharing network, who had identified images on their servers with several usernames that linked to edgerly, including shaneallen, roadhammer, and lovejehovah1... he also explained his usernames to the detectives.

This man liked to drive fast and knew that God was with him. He kept going faster & faster,80 Km, 100Km, 120 Km, 150 Km, 180 Km then he had an accident and died.

In heaven he asked God why He let him die, wasn't He supposed to be with him? :perplexed:

I have question about Harry Peloyan

i learned from loyd evans video that because of his higher education (harvard graduate).

and talented carrier in wall street journal,harry peloyan was very quick to be invited to world hq.. according to his life story (w may 1 ,2006) , he was invited to whq in 1957.. i wonder when was he baptized?.

is it true that people who have higher education be used by the org more quickly than people who don’t?.

I was being passed by a few times when I so wanted to be in bethel. But no sooner did they learn I was skilled in 7 different languages (now 13, all self taught) boom I was sent a special request through a branch representative with the form.

And people say Hindsight is a good thing.I would prefer Foresight.

Should have woken up then.

Library now cleared out

well, it looks like the axe has finally fallen on our kh library.

during a deep clean of the local kh, a brother suddenly informed everyone 'whikst cleaning' that all the old books including bound volumes of the watchtower etc was to be chucked in the skip.. from what i heard, some were taken aback by this and quite annoyed that no announcement was made; that no one was given the choice of taking some of these books home to keep.

i mean the entire collection of studies in the scriptures and others that go back an entire century.

Sorry for you my friend. It is never too late to see the light My friend.Think about all those still in ,manipulated, naively belieivng the TRUTH AIR BUBBLE and wasting away their lives for nothing. At least you are out.Now "make things happen for you " which will have more meaning in your life, give you joy and satisfaction of doing so with the way you want your life to pan out from now on.

The best thing you can do positively is move forward, dont look back.

Most importantly we all are here for you to help you .Dont feel you are on your own. Share things as you see fit and we will be here to help you coz we are all in the same boat.

There has been an arrest in the case of the bodies found . No details yet disclosed just the arrest. Wait n see what happens.

Question for PIMOS but all welcome

so once pimo how do you deal with going to the meetings, ministry, social getotgethers, conventions assemblies?.

for one you know it is all off key,.

two your 2 hours or more so just wasted (not counting the time getting ready,travelling etc).

With PIMO AND POMI, I can understand them not wanting to be there but being there for personal reasons. What about those who are PIMI who go to the hall and then wait around in the toilets and other areas just chatting. I have seen elders, their wives and others doing it, often elders preparing their parts for the night during the meeting. What is the point of that when you are missing out on all the "spiritual food"?
