  Living in the last of the last days - A new prophecy

  although not a new concept by the watchtower, particularly in public talks and at assemblies, they have now put this prophecy in writing.watchtower oct 2019 page 8 -13 study no.40 titled -keep busy during the last of "the last days".

  Is There Anything You Can Be Thankful For Since leaving The JW`s.

  i can ,the people i had influence over in joining the religion.,but have now left the religion.granted it`s family,except for one.. those that were active jw`s and have now left :.

  my wife .

  my two sons ,and a wife of one .

  Does anyone remember?

  so back when the borganization took over the congregations and their money when "forgiving" the loans for the mortgages, i seem to remember there was a congregation that stood up to them.

  it didn't work, of course, but they caused quite a stir.

  does anyone remember what congregation it was or any details where i could search and find more about it on here?

  ten years ago ( after 32 years as a jehovah's witness), i finally decided that my own mental sanity and being true to myself was more important than attending congregation meetings and serving the watchtower society.

  i stopped (years before) field service, the ministry school, answering at the watchtower studies, missed numerous meetings and walked in minutes before the meetings started and left after the closing prayer, i knew it was time to leave.

  Thank you for your kind words Chaching.

  It is really amazing that you have helped your family to awake. I am not much of a writer and english is not my first language either but thank you for encouraging me. For me to get out without my partner was unthinkable. To be honest with you since we got married we have been together 24/7 literally. We have from day 1 built our relationship as strong as we can make it. Each day we remind ourselves of how precious we are for each other. We truly are great together. WE as one is the only good thing that came out of the cult and we give each others personality the credit for it. We forever hold each other as valuable n priceless in the whole universe. So yes we work hard in keeping, maintaining ,strengthening our love/relationship from strength to strength.

  When "In" we did all things together, we never have gone out , been doing something on our own. If one doesnt want to go somewhere(partying,socializing, shopping anything) the other cancels too and we stay with each other. We cant be without each other at all.

  I agree it is a challenge Zilgee but I am a born intoo. I woke up by myself. With no help off of the internet and anyone else. Could not afford any comforts of life coz led a simple life attending to basic needs and devoting time to this cult. Yet, started having doubts, struggled with myself to see through the fog of lies but ultimately came through to the light.

  Also ask why the hell does the society TELL you which hotels to stop in for conventions? is there job to give spiritual food or be intrusive and rule our every move? which verse supports this?

  donations are supposed to be voluntary why the hell do they tell us /make us make a pledge to give so much..monthly to the society? By the way there are at least 5 different types of contributions we all are supposed to give. I see no verse supporting those.

  All these higher ups CO, DO, branch representatives ,gb travelling first class instyle does not align with a life of poverty pledge they sign does it. is there life simple? We are suposed to lead a simple life but not them? can you imagine jesus travelling first class...what do the scriptures reveal...jesus did not have a roof over his head.

  Of course in not so many words but gently, smoothly.

  i believe when we were in the jw cult, our brains and thoughts were hijacked by the governing body.

  i truly believe the gb thinks all members are stupid and they laugh at them in their wednesday morning secret meetings.. one such teaching that i never heard anyone bring out or question yet the absurdity and contradiction is blatantly obvious is: revelation chapter 20 says that christ will reign for 1000 years.

  it doesn't say he will reign more than a thousand yrs but only 1000 yrs.
