I believe there are going to be food shortages soon. Personally I have been putting away long term storage food that is freeze dried and good or best by 2052. Its only for emergency and I hope it will just rot away and I will never need it. But I believe in Gold, Silver as a hedge against inflation and food and other things that will not go bad. The fed has been way way to lax trying to keep interest low and now they are too little too late They need to be raising rates at 1 point not .25. Housing is in another bubble and people who are sub prime are starting to default on car and home loans. We have to go through a recession and it must be significant or we are just kicking the can down the road. Just think how bad it would be if build back better had dumped trillions of printed fresh money in the system. It would be great depression. Anyone who can think at all could see this coming. But the Fed kept pouring gas on the fire. Janet Yellen said some of the dumbest things in the last few weeks. She really is an idiot.

by nicolaou inhere in the uk we've recently had the price cap on household energy bills raised by around £800 and there'll be another similar raise this autumn.. food prices are up, petrol is around £1.82 per litre - that's $10.37 per gallon for our american friends - and inflation is currently running at 9%.
business are being hit as ordinary folk prioritise their spending.
young folks are effectively priced out of the housing market and wage rises are not keeping pace.. mrs nic' and i are fortunate in that we're both in secure employment and with the kids moved out and mortgage paid off our outgoings are thankfully low.

The whole WW1 Armageddon thing was an after thought to save the false date. The prediction was never a world war, it was the end times when god was supposed to bring and end to mans rule and bind Satan and reinstate his rule. But when that failed they fell back on WW1 was a sign that the end times had started and then it would end in 1918, 1925, 1975 and the list goes on. To say WW1 was a hit for their prediction or a manifestation of them being right about Satan being thrown down to earth is a complete divergence of what they actually said. Its like a fortune teller telling you there will be a plane crash tomorrow and there is not but there was a boat that sank and claiming a hit. Its stupid, laughable and down right retarded. I think the Watchtower is a lot like members of Congress. They do not actually own it but they run it. So as long as they are in power there is no real difference. If they are kicked out or die they do not give it to their relatives. But while in power its just like they own it.

Homeopathy was one, and when the hippie new age people started up a lot of JWs were old hippies and went to the granola way of medicine. Both are BS although some of the herb can be somewhat useful but not all that much. Homeopathy is total BS.
I know of several JW families who were deep into this as if it were some wonder medicine. My wife and I were given a box of Homeopathy medicine [sugar pills] as a wedding gift. I did not know much about it at the time and it was before the internet so information was not near as easy to find. I did find some books on the subject and found it really was insane. The more a medicine herb is diluted the stronger it is. We used to say if I don't take any will I OD?
I was told things like "the queen of England uses Homeopathy." Well that was an appeal to authority. James Randi used to take a whole bottle of Homeopathy sleeping pills in his talks on the subject. He said Don't worry, I have done this many many times and its just sugar pills.
Many of the JWs I knew were as invested into this garbage as they were in the religion. At first it sounded like it may be something to this. But as I pulled back the wool it did not take much to see it was nothing but BS. I don't think that the JWs in general are as anti modern medicine as they were in the 60s and 70s. Am I wrong? Do they still go for this stupid type of thing or is it not near as big of a thing as it was back them.

Over my years in the religion or so called religion, I have noticed that most JWs who are big PIMIs do not really care about any change. Its their group and they will defend it no matter what is changed or does not work out. I mean my go they only lost 10 percent or so after 1975. If that does not wake one up what would? Cult members are usually invested in a cult and do not think they are in a cult.

Personally I like Evans videos. He has a good way of presenting. I don't really care what he dose in his private life. None of my business.
