i called and heard it myself.
i wrote an email to the complaints team and await a response.
They just replied to say....(drum roll....)...
"Thank you for your email, I have registered your comments on our reporting system and forwarded your concerns to our Communications team as feedback to look into and take appropriate action.
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with the team."

here is the thing that came to my mind: by isolating just that part, the part sounds rather hubris, shocking, audacious.
when the jw hear it couched in a talk and woven in with scriptures, they will take it in without giving a real thought as to what is really being said..
This very odd expression has actually made some start to think. I have heard family members and congregation members mention it in a faintly negative way - testing the waters with me and others to see if they thought it was odd too. Yes - it's blasphemy, idolatry, stupidity, insanity etc. depending on your point of view/belief system!

In the recent BBC interview, about 40 minutes in, Elon Musk uses the term "anointed class". Is that expression used anywhere but in JW theology? I googled (actually duckduckgo!) it and asked chatbot and couldn't really find anything but JW stuff. Strange to hear the expression! I'm sure he has no connection to JWs.

Personally I wasn't hoping for that outcome - just a removal of the music, and maybe the reason being admitted publicly somehow (newspaper?).

100% sure they are Kingdom melodies. I know the songs well! The modern songs in the latest songbook are quite unique - nothing like the older Kingdom Melodies which were somewhat similar to famous songs/hymns. It is well known in the local area (amongst JWs) that the hospital uses these songs. The publishers are very proud that this is the case. They say that a brother who works at the hospital arranged for it.

I agree, thanks jhine. They would never quote the verses that say the complete opposite, like 1John 2:27 - which says "you do not need anyone to be teaching you, but the anointing from him is teaching you about all things".
That is never mentioned because they like to pretend that a only tiny minority of Christians are anointed. 99.9% supposedly do need teaching by the GB!
