Luke 23:43 the NWT
by Ade inluke 23:43 - and jesus said to him, "positively i say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.
nwt places comma here , giving a totally different meaning to the verse.
now the average jw uses this to back their doctrine and it seems in itself virtually impossible to reason with them on it.

There's a lot of text, but it's all just an excuse, the point is that you can't refute its content
Yes, I noticed too that there is a lot of text on those websites you linked and the articles you cut and pasted. Thank you for being forthright that it's an excuse, that is humble of you. But you don't have to rely on the writings of other people. Let Jesus help you speak instead. Use the Bible instead of the writings of others. Then instead of "refuting content" (which I did refute quite clearly, but if you missed it we can do it again) we can talk about pure words of truth.βΊοΈ
"I write you these things about those who are trying to mislead you. And as for you, the anointing that you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to be teaching you; but the anointing from him is teaching you about all things and is true and is no lie. Just as it has taught you, remain in union with him." (1 John 2:26,27)

@aqwsed12345...
I am not sure why you keep wanting me to read these anti-Watchtower articles.
I have been disfellowshipped by the WTBT$. They banned me from going to meetings and they banned me from going to assemblies and conventions. I am not allowed on the KH property. They consider me to be a wicked apostate deserving of death and mentally diseased.
I believe in Bible truths. My acceptance of beliefs is not based on what is written in a Watchtower publication, it's based on what is written in the Bible and in harmony with holy spirit.
You can keep posting "How to Preach to a Jehovah's Witness" all you want, but you're barking up the wrong tree.
For one thing, not all of the Jehovah's Witnesses teachings are wrong just because Jehovah's Witnesses believe them. There was a Flood in Noah's day. Jehovah and Jesus are two different people. There will be a literal paradise on the earth again.
For another thing, I don't believe something just because the Jehovah's Witnesses borg believes it, so I don't know if you're assuming that or whatever, but just chucking a bunch of text at me that someone else wrote doesn't do anything. Jehovah's Witnesses borg doesn't believe Jesus and Jehovah will walk on the earth, but the Bible teaches they will. Jehovah's Witnesses borg doesn't believe certain people will survive Armageddon, but the Bible teaches they will.
And thirdly, a lot of that stuff you just posted is kind of antiquated and most of the JWborg people don't even believe some of what you said (like that "gasses" thing and stuff from "Studies in the Scriptures". Your average JW will have no clue what you are talking about.)
If you want to talk about a verse, why not just tell me in your own words what you think instead of posting a bunch of stuff from somebody else? It's kind of the same thing they do at the carts where they just say "go to the website". It makes me think you're not really confident in what you're saying, and it undermines your argument rather than supporting it.
I appreciate that you want to talk, though, so thank you for making the effort.π

Is the WT right that the Lamb's marriage is after Armageddon?
by Kosonen inthe wt org claims that the lamb's marriage will happen after armageddon, despite the fact that revelation 19 very clearly says that the lamb's marriage happens after the destruction of babylon the great.
and that after the lamb's marriage he with heavenly armies will go to destroy the wicked.. the wt claims that the order of events in revelation 19 is not really in that order referring to psalm 45. but i can't find in psalm 45 any explicit contradiction to revelation 19. .
paragraph 10 in the following article shows the wt org's view point:.

I am sorry you two have been so hurt by "religious" people who do not reflect God's Love and His truth.
I wish I could make all your pain go away and help you trust Him again right now, but I can't.
It takes time to heal and to trust. He isn't the One who broke your trust, but He got blamed for it. Someday you'll see it wasn't His fault.
He Loves you. He hasn't left you. He isn't the One who caused the pain. He's going to fix it. You'll know that eventually. I'm sorry you are in pain.π·

please. Stop being so nit picketing
Hi, @Rattigan!
Nit Picking vs Nit Picketing.
Words mean things. I think there is a difference between Picketing Nits and Picking Nits, but you seem to have a different way of comprehension and understanding.
I don't have any Nits. Don't want any. You are welcome to have Picketing Nits if you want to, Rattigan, but I think that sounds gross!π

Dear Vander, my brother...
There is so much work to be done in the days ahead shepherding the Lord's sheep. It is good for us to work together. We are all sinners and we are all in need of the mercy of the Lord. He will make things clear at the appointed time as regards all of these scriptural understandings.
We agree that Jesus didn't come with the clouds of heaven in 1914. That's something!π
Love is the most important thing. We have love. The rest will come. We will keep showing love to each other and the Lord's little sheep.
Thank you for sharing the Tommy Walker song with me the other day. I love music. Here is another song I like about Jesus. It makes me think about all the sheep that will coming "home" to his embrace in the days ahead.

"Keep on the watch, therefore, because you do not know on what day your Lord is coming." (Matthew 24:42)
"But know one thing: If the householder had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have kept awake and not allowed his house to be broken into. On this account, you too prove yourselves ready, because the Son of man is coming at an hour that you do not think to be it." (Matthew 24:43-44)
"You also, keep ready, because at an hour that you do not think likely, the Son of man is coming." (Luke 12:40)
"And then they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory." (Mark 13:26)
"And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." (Luke 21:27)
When the Christians fled Jerusalem in the first century, they didn't "see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." They saw the Roman armies coming with power and glory for men.
"But as these things start to occur, stand up straight and lift up your heads, because your deliverance is getting near." (Luke 21:27,28)
When the Christians fled Jerusalem in the first century, they didn't have "deliverance". They were fleeing. Fleeing isn't "deliverance".
When Jesus visibly comes to the rescue at the end of the great tribulation, that will be deliverance.

You still didn't answer my question:
If you think the tribulation already came and went, then what is it you think he was talking about when he said "Keep on the watch"?"

"Ad hominem(Attacking the person): This fallacy occurs when, instead of addressing someone's argument or position, you irrelevantly attack the person or some aspect of the person who is making the argument." (txst.edu)
The points I brought out about were not "irrelevant". They were pertinent. I read pages from the websites you linked and I commented on them in depth with quotes to show that their substance and reasoning is flawed and unscriptural.
For me to say that the writers were pulling their interpretations out of a dark place wasn't an "ad hominem attack". It was truth. Jesus called out the Pharisees as serpents, offspring of their Father the Devil. He wasn't doing an "ad hominem attack". He was telling the truth about those religious fakers who pretended to be something they were not: friends of God. Those fakers were not God's friends, and they weren't our friends either.
"...if your eye is envious, your whole body will be dark. If the light that is in you is really darkness, how great that darkness is! No one can slave for two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stick to the one and despise the other. You cannot slave for God and for Riches."
One of your website authors is looking for money rather than glory for God.
"...a man is declared righteous, not by works of law, but only through faith in Jesus Christ. So we have put our faith in Christ Jesus, so that we may be declared righteous by faith in Christ and not by works of law, for no one will be declared righteous by works of law."
The other website author you posted is seeking to make rules to enslave the sheep and harshly lord it over the flock.
Neither of those website authors has the mind of Christ. Since they don't have the mind of Christ and they don't have the holy spirit, they do not know how to interpret that verse correctly, just like the rest of the verses discussed in your other Robert Bowman and Brian Onken article there.
Those guys Bowman and Onken are making stuff up so people will look at their names. They don't know what they're talking about. They just talk and talk and talk and it's all just made up. You would do better if you just read the Bible yourself and asked God to help you.
Why do you want to follow men? Follow God. Follow the Christ.
"Little children, keep yourselves from idols."
