As regards Desolation...the religious institutions will also be completely Desolated when the UN attacks religious institutions.

Did Jesus COME with the clouds of heaven in 1914?

The lights of figurative Israel (Christendom), the lights of figurative Babylon (all the religions), the lights of figurative Egypt (the idols, whatever they represent to each person, people have their own idols, many types of idols) will go out.

The attack on the religious institutions will be like the figurative lights going out. It's recorded also figuratively in Revelation 8:12...

"The fourth angel blew his trumpet. And a third of the sun was struck and a third of the moon and a third of the stars, in order that a third of them might be darkened and the day might not have light for a third of it, and the night likewise."

Even though the lights went out in Egypt when the plague of darkness hit, the Israelites still had light in all their dwellings.

True Christians, those who have a relationship with God through Jesus, are like "Israel" in that they are "contenders with God" and they will still have "light" in their dwellings during the time of darkness, during the 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation when the religious institutions are attacked.

That will be the time to "let the light shine" so that others can hear that Jesus is King in heaven (because at that point he will be) and to tell that he will be coming by the end of the 3 1/2 year tribulation to fix everything.

Humans have tried all kinds of governments, but they've never had the chance to try to rule without the interference of organized religion. The 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation will show that human governments cannot fix things on earth, either with organized religion around or without it.

True Christians are like Jerusalem, which will be trampled on by the nations until the appointed times of the nations has come to a finish. The appointed times for the nations is 3 1/2 years. The good news of the kingdom will also be preached during that time. Then the end will come.

The generation that sees the beginning of the great tribulation will live to see the end of it, because it's only 3 1/2 years the tribulation will last. Then Jesus will come on the clouds, and everybody will know and see him.

Evolutionary theory has more holes in it than the GB/FDS false doctrines, lol, but I suppose that's a topic for another thread.🙂

When Jesus is enthroned and the UN attack on the JWborg and other religions starts happening, many people's faith in God will be revived, including many exJWs, because they will know Jehovah heard their cries and anguish when the false shepherds of the borg did so many bad things. Jehovah knows where all His little sheep are, and He hasn't abandoned them while they've been on that torture stake, just like He didn't abandon Jesus on the torture stake, even though at one point Jesus cried out, "My Father, My Father, why have you abandoned me?"

I am definitely not a follower of Robert King! Lol🤣🤣🤣 I did go to visit his forum once and he kicked me out right away because I called him out on wanting to be worshipped just like the GB.

Israel was a small nation, but they played into Bible prophecy. The congregations of Revelation 2 and 3 represent all of the Christian groups who claim to trace their roots to the first century Christian congregation, in other words, anyone who claims to be Christian. But which group among them has falsely prophesied about Jesus already coming in 1914 and misled millions and their leaders claimed to be gods in the way they put their own rules ahead of God's while claiming to be His Name People? There are some specific fulfillments on the JWborg because they have reproached Jehovah's name to an extreme degree while claiming to represent Jehovah Himself by Name, but all the religious institutions are included in the prophecies regarding the attack on religious institutions.

All the religions will be "disciplined" by the attack on religious institutions. Jesus will gather true Christians to true worship from wherever they can be found, whether they are in a church of Christendom or isolated somewhere or a Jehovah's Witness or whatever.

The next "plague" after the locusts is just another perspective of the same event, the attack on religion, from a different angle...

Revelation 9:12-15

"The one woe is past. Look! Two more woes are coming after these things. The sixth angel blew his trumpet. And I heard one voice from the horns of the golden altar that is before God say to the sixth angel who had the trumpet: “Untie the four angels who are bound at the great river Eu·phraʹtes.” And the four angels who have been prepared for the hour and day and month and year were untied to kill a third of the people.""

The angels who are "bound at the great river Euphrates" are the same as the angels referred to in this verse:

"After this I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding tight the four winds of the earth, so that no wind could blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the sunrise, having a seal of the living God; and he called with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying: “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until after we have sealed the slaves of our God in their foreheads.”" (Revelation 7:1-13)

The "great river Euphrates" was by Babylon.

The angels have been holding back the winds of destruction from Babylon the Great. The locust plague is the attack on Babylon the Great. The plagues are just different aspects of the fall of Babylon the Great and other events of the 3 1/2 year great tribulation that hasn't yet begun but will soon.

"And now you know what is acting as a restraint, so that he will be revealed in his own due time. True, the mystery of this lawlessness is already at work, but only until the one who is right now acting as a restraint is out of the way." (2 Thessalonians 2:6,7)

The "restraint" is the angels.

Some more from 2 Thessalonians chapter 2...

"However, brothers, concerning the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you not to be quickly shaken from your reason nor to be alarmed either by an inspired statement or by a spoken message or by a letter appearing to be from us, to the effect that the day of Jehovah is here." The GB/FDS said "the day of Jehovah" (aka Jesus getting the kingdom) began in 1914. The GB/FDS have an appearance of godly devotion but prove false to its power.

At the great tribulation, the angels will not hold back the UN from attacking religion anymore. During that attack, Jesus will allow the GB/FDS JWborg (as well as all other groups claiming to be Christian) to be cleaned out of their properties and prominence just like Jesus cleaned out the temple in the first century. The independent religious institutions themselves will be completely gone.

"But the lawless one’s presence is by the operation of Satan with every powerful work and lying signs and wonders and every unrighteous deception for those who are perishing, as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth in order that they might be saved. That is why God lets a deceptive influence mislead them so that they may come to believe the lie, in order that they all may be judged because they did not believe the truth but took pleasure in unrighteousness." Satan has allowed the JWborg people to say "1914, see we predicted it!" just like Satan empowered Jannes and Jambres to seem to make frogs and some of the plagues in the Egypt. Satan is the one who lined up the nations for their WWI battles, just like playing out a war game.

The angels of the congregations know where Christians are. The congregations of Revelation stand for all the religious groups that claim their descent from Christ's first century congregation. Revelation chapters 2 and 3 shows there is sectarianism in some, and idolatry in some, and immorality in some. When Jesus takes the throne, he will send out his angels and they will remove the weeds and gather the wheat in bundles. The leaven of the false teachings will be removed. The Christian congregation will be refined and restored by the 1,150th day of the tribulation.

"Out of one of them came another horn, a small one, and it grew very great toward the south and toward the east and toward the Decoration. It grew so great that it reached all the way to the army of the heavens, and it caused some of the army and some of the stars to fall to the earth, and it trampled them down. It exalted itself even against the Prince of the army, and from him the constant feature was taken away, and the established place of his sanctuary was thrown down. And an army was given over, together with the constant feature, because of transgression; and it kept throwing truth to the earth, and it acted and had success. And I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one speaking: “How long will the vision of the constant feature and of the transgression causing desolation continue, to make both the holy place and the army things to trample on?” So he said to me: “Until 2,300 evenings and mornings; and the holy place will certainly be restored to its right condition.”" (Daniel 8:9-14)

The UN is the horn. Genesis says "An evening, a morning, one day." An evening is half a day. A morning is half a day. 2,300 half days is 1,150 days.

We will have to keep announcing at that point that Jesus is king in heaven and that he is coming. There will be a great crowd of former unbelievers during the tribulation that say "we will go with you people, for we have heard that God is with you people," just like there was a great crowd of unbelievers in Egypt who didn't have time to "convert" to the Israelite religion but were still saved.

The context of the plagues of Revelation is after Jesus gets the throne in heaven.

Jesus didn't get the throne in 1914, but when he does the great tribulation will begin on earth because the Devil will be cast down. The Devil will get the UN all riled up to attack religion.

The plagues of Revelation are depicting different "angles" of that attack on religion.

The WTBT$ says something like that Jesus leading the preaching JWs since 1914 is the locusts, but that can't be because the context shows otherwise.

In Joel, the locusts were the attacking armies that God allowed as the instrument of his discipline on people who claimed to represent Him but were reproaching His name.

In Egypt, the locust plague showed the gods of Egypt to be impotent.

In Revelation, the locust plague of the UN coalition nations attacking religious institutions will show that those religious leaders who want to be worshipped are impotent too.

So, in the scriptures, is there only one "abyss"? Do you think the "abyss" the locusts come out of is the same "abyss" that Legion's demons were afraid of going into and it's also the same "abyss" the UN came out of? There's only one "abyss" in the whole universe?

So, in the scriptures, is there only one set of "keys"? Do you think the keys of the "abyss" are the same as the "keys" of the grave and also the "keys" of the kingdom?

If Satan has been given all authority on earth, why couldn't he also be given keys over an abyss?

Revelation shows that the UN comes up out of the abyss. Revelation shows the locusts come up out of the abyss. (It's not the same abyss the demons were afraid of going into.)

Satan is the ruler of the world. The UN is a government of the world. The locusts are agents of the world.

Satan is Abaddon, the lord of the locusts of the UN plague on religion.

It is while the religions are saying "peace and security" that they are attacked by the governments of the nations. It isn't the governments that will say "peace and security". The context of First Thessalonians shows that Paul was talking about religious people saying "peace and security" and then being attacked by the governments.

"Now as for the times and the seasons, brothers, you need nothing to be written to you. For you yourselves know very well that Jehovah’s day is coming exactly as a thief in the night." (1 Thessalonians 5:1,2)

The JWborg incorrectly said that "the day of Jehovah" (when Jesus began ruling in the kingdom and tossed the Devil out of heaven) was in 1914. But Jesus said "no man knows the day or the hour" the kingdom would begin - nobody could calculate the start time.

"Whenever it is that they are saying, “Peace and security!” then sudden destruction is to be instantly on them, just like birth pains on a pregnant woman, and they will by no means escape." (1 Thessalonians 5:3)

Just like in the first century, the Jews in Jerusalem thought they were safe but then Rome got them, so it will be the same for the religious institutions today. For example, the JWborg thinks that the UN will attack Jehovah's Witnesses last, but they are wrong. They are spiritually asleep and spiritually drunk on the false teachings of the GB/FDS.

"But you, brothers, you are not in darkness, so that the day should overtake you as it would thieves, for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We belong neither to night nor to darkness. So, then, let us not sleep on as the rest do, but let us stay awake and keep our senses. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But as for us who belong to the day, let us keep our senses and put on the breastplate of faith and love and the hope of salvation as a helmet because God assigned us, not to wrath, but to the acquiring of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." Since the GB/FDS told Jehovah's Witnesses that Jesus already became king in 1914 and the Devil is already cast out of heaven, the JWborg is asleep as to what is about to happen. The JWborg has said "to the effect that the day of Jehovah is here," that Jesus has already been ruling as king in heaven and the Devil has already been cast down since 1914/1918.

Anyone who puts God first gets "disfellowshipped." The GB/FDS are apostates. They have apostatized from the healthful teachings of the Christ. They are antichrists.

The "powerful work" of the JWborg leaders includes presenting lots of numbers - "look at all this growth!" And the lying signs include things like "look, 1914, there was a war! We were right about 1914!" But the truth is that Jesus did not start ruling in 1914.

Timeline:

Soon Jesus will be enthroned in heaven.

Then Satan will be kicked out of heaven and Satan will get the UN to attack religion, starting with those who claim to be God's Name People, Jehovah's Witnesses - all their real estate and properties will be "devoured" by the nations.

At that point we'll see that evidence of the great tribulation started, of the UN attacking religion, and we'll know Jesus has at last been enthroned in heaven.

So then we preach the good news that the Kingdom is in power in heaven.

At that time all of us who know these things and speak about them will be witnesses for Jesus.

That witnessing work will be done under difficult conditions. The two specific witnesses mentioned in Revelation 11:2,3 are said to preach while "dressed in sackcloth".

"But as for the courtyard that is outside the temple sanctuary, leave it out and do not measure it, because it has been given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city underfoot for 42 months. I will cause my two witnesses to prophesy for 1,260 days dressed in sackcloth."

It won't be only those two specific witnesses who are "in sackcloth". All of us witnessing about Jesus at that time will be under extreme pressure because the UN will have banned all religion.

"If anyone has an ear, let him hear. If anyone is meant for captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed with the sword. This is where it calls for endurance and faith on the part of the holy ones." (Revelation 13:9,10)

We will have the angels helping us to announce the good news during that time of the 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation.

"This good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." (Matthew 24:14)

There is a lot of work to do ahead!🙂 Good thing Jesus is the one taking the lead!

In Revelation, it is the false prophet (Anglo-America) that breathes life into the UN. The UN is an extension of the Anglo-American world power.

In Daniel chapter 2, the feet of iron and clay come out of the Roman power. The UN comes out of the US/UK which is out of the Roman power.

In Daniel chapter 7, the fourth beast is Rome. The horns are the nations descended from the Roman power. The three horns of Austria-Hungary, Italy, and Germany were humiliated by the Allies/LeagueNations/UN with treaties that stripped them of power/land/control after the world wars.

"As for the ten horns, ten kings will rise up out of that kingdom; and still another one will rise up after them, and he will be different from the first ones, and he will humiliate three kings. He will speak words against the Most High, and he will continually harass the holy ones of the Supreme One. He will intend to change times and law, and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time. But the Court sat, and they took away his rulership, in order to annihilate him and to destroy him completely." (Daniel 7:24-26)

The UN world power is different from the other kingdoms. The UN world power will be allowed to attack religion for time, times and half a time. The UN power will be in place when the God's kingdom comes at the end of the 3 1/2 times and destroys all governments in opposition to God's kingdom.

In Daniel chapter 8, the small horn initially is the US/UK but it becomes the UN.

"And in the final part of their kingdom, as the transgressors act to a completion, a fierce-looking king who understands ambiguous sayings will stand up. His power will become great, but not through his own power. He will bring ruin in an extraordinary way, and he will be successful and act effectively. He will bring mighty ones to ruin, also the people made up of the holy ones. And by his cunning he will use deception to succeed; and in his heart he will exalt himself; and during a time of security he will bring many to ruin. He will even stand up against the Prince of princes, but he will be broken without human hand." (Daniel 8:23-25)

The UN leader will become "great, but not through his own power." He will bring ruin in an extraordinary way during the great tribulation when he, as the head of the UN, authorizes the attack on all religious institutions. Jesus will see that the UN leader is "broken without human hand" at the end of the appointed times of the nations, namely, the three and a half times of the great tribulation.

Daniel chapter 11:44,45 is talking about Putin. He is coming to his end, and there is no helper for him. Daniel 12:1 says that "During that time" (namely, while Putin is coming to his end) "Miʹcha·el will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of your people. And there will occur a time of distress such as has not occurred since there came to be a nation until that time." In other words, during the time we are now living it, Jesus will take the throne in heaven. The great tribulation will begin after Jesus throws Satan out of heaven, as is stated in Revelation.

"It will be for an appointed time, appointed times, and half a time. As soon as the dashing to pieces of the power of the holy people comes to an end, all these things will come to their finish." (Daniel 12:7)

In Luke 21:24 Jesus referred to this time, times and half a time as the appointed times of the nations. "And they will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled on by the nations until the appointed times of the nations are fulfilled."

When the 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation is over, in other words, when the UN has had their day to prove that human governments without religious institutions are completely unable to solve the world's problems, then Jesus will come and save the day.

"“Also, there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of nations not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and its agitation. People will become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But as these things start to occur, stand up straight and lift up your heads, because your deliverance is getting near.” With that he told them an illustration: “Notice the fig tree and all the other trees. When they are budding, you see it for yourselves and know that now the summer is near. Likewise also you, when you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near. Truly I say to you that this generation will by no means pass away until all things happen. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away." (Luke 21:25-33)

The "generation" of faithful ones that sees the beginning of the tribulation will live to see the end of it, because it is only 3 1/2 years.

The verses in Revelation about the 42 months are also talking about the UN trampling on religion for the 3 1/2 years. True worshippers will be affected by the cruelty of the UN.

"But as for the courtyard that is outside the temple sanctuary, leave it out and do not measure it, because it has been given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city underfoot for 42 months." (Revelation 11:2)

"And they worshipped the dragon because it gave the authority to the wild beast, and they worshipped the wild beast with the words: “Who is like the wild beast, and who can do battle with it?” It was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and it was given authority to act for 42 months. And it opened its mouth in blasphemies against God to blaspheme his name and his dwelling place, even those residing in heaven. It was permitted to wage war with the holy ones and conquer them, and it was given authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation." (Revelation 13:4-7)

"If anyone has an ear, let him hear. If anyone is meant for captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed with the sword. This is where it calls for endurance and faith on the part of the holy ones." (Revelation 13:9,10)

Jesus will give us the strength we need when we need it. Love for him and for God and for each other will help us endure.
