Jesus says to "born again" Christians at Revelation 3:19 "All those for whom I have affection, I reprove and discipline. So be zealous and repent." Your "spirit" is not perfect.

You would be wise to listen to Jesus' counsel.

Levi was one of the worst sons of Jacob. Levi's kids had to work at the temple, doing a job that really wasn't "glorious" when you look at what it entailed. Kind of like working in a kitchen today. Jehovah used one of the lowest members of Jacob's family to show that if he can love the lowly ones, how much more he loves the rest.

Revelation doesn't say that all the anointed are like Levi. The illustration in Revelation says that figuratively speaking, the 144,000 come out of all of Israel, a representative sample. "Israel" means "Contenders with God". All Christians contend for the blessing alongside God. Those who end up with that priest-assignment are not necessarily more spiritual or more intelligent or more anything just like Levi wasn't more spiritual than his brothers the rest of Israel/Jacob...the 144,000 are just a representative sample of all Christians "out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation."

Did Jesus materialize a body and hang out with his buddies? Yes.

The scriptures show that, yes, the anointed will be able to materialize and hang out on earth and visit in the paradise. In fact, their assignment necessitates that they be here.

If He can help a newborn baby know what to do without any lessons and a bug with a pin head know how to fly, He can help those other ones do what they need to do at the appointed time. When it says in Revelation that "the 144,000 come out of the tribes of all Israel" - that shows that in context "all Israel" means "all Christians." The 144,000 are just a fraction of all faithful Christians.

Not all Christians are part of the 144,000, but all Christians have Christ as mediator.

Since he's not here, Jesus will be here instead. "Eternal Father" means he's not leaving. He can materialize and hang out whenever and wherever he wants to.

The illustration of the "marriage of the Lamb" is figurative. The anointed 144,000 become "partner" to Christ in that they have to also be a new creation to do the assigned task. Since Jesus was willing to forsake having a literal wife and literal offspring in order to redeem the offspring of Adam, Jehovah as a reward invented the figurative wife and helper for him and allowed him to adopt all Adam's kids.

Adam's kids were "dead" the day that Adam and Eve ate the fruit. The kids are "made alive" because of the ransom of the Christ. Since God's Word is as good as done, it is through their faith in that ransom blood that they, the kids, are saved. He is their ransom. His blood buys them back. The application of the blessings and healings are supported by the 144,000, like how the priests worked helping out at the temple, but the sacrifice for all is the Lamb and only the Lamb, Christ Jesus. He is the mediator for all who express faith and hope in his name.

In Revelation, many times in context when it says people are "killed" it is talking figuratively, as in "killed from their former course of conduct". They were "dead in their trespasses" but they "come to life" by means of faith. Their faith gives them a new hope to live forever.

During the great tribulation, many who do not believe in Christ today will turn around and say "we want to go with you people, for we have heard that God is with you people." It's not talking about "you people, Israel" meaning the anointed. It's talking about "you people, Israel" meaning all Christians, both the anointed to work as priests in the kingdom and those who will inherit the earth and make it a Paradise side-by-side working with the Christ, the one who said,

"You will be with me in Paradise."

A Timeline...

(1) Anointed all "sealed". Jesus is enthroned in heaven.

(2) Jesus kicks out the Devil, the great tribulation begins on earth.

(3) Religious institutions destroyed by the United Nations and associated governments. Refining of true Christians on earth out of all denominations and places, removal of false doctrines and clergy "leaders". Jesus as head of all true Christians.

(4) During 3 1/2 years (the appointed times of the nations, aka the great tribulation) governments have final opportunity to try to make a go of world rulership apart from God. Some formerly non-religious people will join us at that time in wanting to learn about and worship God. Others who had lost faith will also rejoin us at that time.

(5) Sometime after the 1260th day, the resurrection of the anointed ones who have died will take place, and the anointed who have not died will be "changed". The nations will see it and freak out. Again, some more will join us at that time.

(6) After the anointed have been around for a little while in changed materialized form, then they will all be gathered together with Jesus for the final part of the Armageddon battle, to protect all who want to worship God and to destroy those who would hurt God's little ones. Everyone will see them. The Devil will be locked up, the 1000 year reign will begin, and others will be resurrected during that time. Jesus and the anointed will walk the earth during that time.

(Just a note, when it says "the birds will eat their flesh" its figurative for "the angels". The angels will dispose of the bodies, not literal birds. Other parts of the Bible say "the name of the wicked will rot" and in the minor prophets when speaking about "rotting" it is figurative in context.)

(7) At the end of the 1000 year reign, after the final test, Jehovah will also walk the earth and be with all His kids.

1 Corinthians 15:51

"Look! I tell you a sacred secret: We will not all fall asleep in death, but we will all be changed."

Paul was talking to the "born-again" ones here, the anointed Christians, about their specific resurrection. The reason he had to explain it to them is because it was a different type of resurrection than the one the Jews were familiar with. Elijah and Elisha resurrected people back to life as a living human body person. Jesus and Peter and Paul resurrected people back to life as a living human body person. They weren't resurrected as "changed". They weren't "waiting in heaven" when they were resurrected.

Paul had to explain that the small group with a different assignment would need to be "changed" into a new creation, because flesh-and-blood human persons cannot go to heaven. People are meant to live on earth. Back in ancient Israel, most Jews had their own home and worked to support that home. The priests spent a portion of their time not at home - they worked in/at the temple. Not everybody had that assignment, but some did.

Moses was the mediator for the covenant then. He helped install the priests. He also helped bring the law for the benefit of the entire nation. It's similar with Jesus. He is the mediator for all mankind in that his blood makes it possible for all mankind to have life. Jesus is also the mediator for the priests, the 144,000, so that they can be changed and do their assignment in the "temple" from heaven. They need certain power to do that job. Just like the installment of priests in Israel "filled their hands with power" figuratively speaking, so it is similar with the 144,000, but it's not until they are "changed" that it happens. There is no reason for any anointed one to "act as kings" now - Paul condemned those ones who tried to do it in the first century. "Are you ruling as kings without us?" He was letting them know how wrong it is to lord it over the flock as "Benefactors" the way the GB does or other clergy types of Christendom.

The partaking of the wine and bread at the Memorial is symbolic. Only those who will be in "the marriage of the Lamb" need to partake. It's just symbolic of the "marriage" arrangement. But it doesn't mean that Jesus isn't the mediator for all mankind. He is. And "partaking of his flesh and blood" in an illustrative way means acknowledging that sacrifice and recognizing that he is our mediator, regardless of whether what our future "assignment" will be.

Taking in Jesus as bread means accepting his clean teachings. All Christians must accept his teachings.

Jesus taught that Lazarus was asleep in death. Jesus was going to awaken him. Jesus didn't say anything about "tripartite" states, because he knew the truth of Ecclesiastes 9:5 - "the dead know nothing at all."

something jumped out at me that i never paid attention to while reading further into matt 26...in vs 28, he tells them his blood is to be poured out for the many for forgiveness of sin.

but note vs 29 but i say to you: i will no menas drink again any of this product of the vine until that day when i drink it new with you in the kingdom of my father.

cross reference luke 22:18 for i tell you , from now on, i will not drink again from the product of the vine until the kingdom of god comes.. what is the point of all of this: matt 26:29 " i drink it new with you " mark 14:25 " drink new in the kingdom of god.

When the apostles and Jesus did healings, usually it involved "hands-on" kind of stuff.

After Jesus was resurrected as a spirit creature, he materialized a body and hung out with the disciples and ate fish with them a few different times before ascending to heaven.

He was showing what he will do in the future. There is no wine in heaven.

God is not partial, and neither is Jesus. "I have other sheep, not of this fold. They will be one flock, one shepherd."

Everybody will hang out here on earth, those who have an assignment to be kings/priests during the 1000 year reign, the good angels who will materialize and hang out too, and everybody who has the assignment to bring the garden back to where it's supposed to be on earth. Jesus will be here hanging out in Paradise, and he knows how to have a good party...

And eventually, Jehovah will visit and materialize too, just like He did in the beginning in the garden, every day going for a walk with them in the breezy part of the day. (Remember, it says "they hid from His face", not "His voice.")
