The Flood of Noah's day touched every corner of the earth.

The visions of Revelation included prophecies that talk about every nation, language, etc, also about how the "great city" has sway over all kings of the earth.

Revelation was written after the tribulation in Jerusalem.

The future tribulation will be just as extensive as the Flood of Noah's day.

Now is not the time to be sleeping.

Matthew 24:29-31

After the attack on Jerusalem, the Christians weren't gathered together - they were scattered. Nobody saw angels and nobody saw Jesus coming on the clouds with power and great glory.

The time of "great distress" hasn't happened yet. Everybody will know when it happens. No one will have to guess. It'll be so bad, people will think no Christians will survive. That's why Jesus said this in Matthew 24:

"Truly I say to you that this generation will by no means pass away until all these things happen. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away."

...and this in Mark 13...

"Truly I say to you that this generation will by no means pass away until all these things happen. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away."

The leaders of the religious institutions (like the "heavens") will pass-away/be-removed and the organizations/bodies of the religious institutions (like the "earth" of those organizations) will be dissolved, but the "generation" of Christians who see the tribulation begin will survive to the end of the tribulation, because the appointed times of the nations to attack/rule-as-UN-world-power during the tribulation is only 3 1/2 years, and Jesus will help us get through that "wilderness" time.

He wasn't saying the "this generation" thing as some kind of way to calculate a timeframe. He was saying it so people wouldn't be scared that they wouldn't survive the tribulation.

The trialsome time period will have a definite ending and a definite end.

"But as these things start to occur, stand up straight and lift up your heads, because your deliverance is getting near."

Jesus blood is poured out for anyone who is willing to take advantage of the ransom. But it is not necessary to partake of the emblems to be show faith in that blood, just like it wasn't necessary for Christians to be circumcised. It was difficult for Jewish Christians to realize that too.

Those who are raised up in the future resurrection during the 1000 year reign will not partake, and yet the blood is enough for them.

The purpose of the Lord's Evening Meal was to remind those of the 144,000 to keep awake until the Lord came to take them to their assignment. It's not like some kind of "golden ticket" or something. That's why the ritual will end when the marriage of the Lamb happens. Partaking of the wine and bread is a ritual, just like circumcision was a ritual, or the old Passover meal was a ritual. It was an expression of faith, but in and of itself it didn't save anyone.

Parts of Christendom have taught people for years that everybody needs to partake of the emblems, but that's not what the Bible teaches. Abraham was considered righteous by faith, and he wasn't even baptized.

There are two different covenants. Jehovah can't let a human "marry" a spirit creature. The first covenant is where Jehovah adopts the 144,000. By adopting the 144,000 and changing them into a new creation, the same kind as His son, Jehovah provides the legal basis to unite the two. Jesus himself makes the second covenant, the marriage covenant, with the 144,000. The covenant for the Kingdom is the marriage covenant. The marriage of the Lamb is when they are joined in the Kingdom, "taking home the bride". When anointed ones partake, they are just showing that they are aware that they are in that marriage covenant.

Those who will live on the earth don't have to be "changed" so they don't need those two covenants. The application of the ransom blood to them is poured out without their needing to partake of the wine/bread because they are not in the marriage covenant. They are automatically made part of that arrangement because Jesus took Adam's place. When he took Adam's place, he automatically inherited his kids and as their Eternal Father he now intercedes for them.

What covenant was Jesus talking about? The covenant for a Kingdom.

Luke 22:29,30

"I make a covenant with you, just as my Father has made a covenant with me, for a kingdom, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom, and sit on thrones to judge the 12 tribes of Israel."

Literally taking in wine and bread doesn't save anyone. Jesus blood is what saves someone, and their faith in that blood.

Romans 14:17-18

"For the Kingdom of God does not mean eating and drinking, but means righteousness and peace and joy with holy spirit. For whoever slaves for Christ in this way is acceptable to God and has approval with men."

I don't think anybody is "sinning" against anyone if they choose to partake or not. But as far as the scriptural precedent, when Moses installed the priests, he didn't spatter the blood on the whole nation, just on those who would be serving as priests. When he made sacrifices for the installment of the priests, it wasn't all the people that ate from it, it was just those who were being installed as priests.

Exodus 29:31-33

"You will take the ram of installation and boil its flesh in a holy place. Aaron and his sons will eat the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket at the entrance of the tent of meeting. They are to eat the things with which atonement was made to install them as priests and to sanctify them. But an unauthorized person may not eat them, for they are something holy."

The high priest made atonement for the entire nation, but the installment sacrifices were specific to those serving as priests.

Jesus' sacrifice makes atonement for everybody, but the specific covenant put in place during the Lord's Evening Meal is only needed for those who will serve as priests, those who need to be a new creation to do that assignment.

Jesus says to "born again" Christians at Revelation 3:19 "All those for whom I have affection, I reprove and discipline. So be zealous and repent." Your "spirit" is not perfect.

You would be wise to listen to Jesus' counsel.

Levi was one of the worst sons of Jacob. Levi's kids had to work at the temple, doing a job that really wasn't "glorious" when you look at what it entailed. Kind of like working in a kitchen today. Jehovah used one of the lowest members of Jacob's family to show that if he can love the lowly ones, how much more he loves the rest.

Revelation doesn't say that all the anointed are like Levi. The illustration in Revelation says that figuratively speaking, the 144,000 come out of all of Israel, a representative sample. "Israel" means "Contenders with God". All Christians contend for the blessing alongside God. Those who end up with that priest-assignment are not necessarily more spiritual or more intelligent or more anything just like Levi wasn't more spiritual than his brothers the rest of Israel/Jacob...the 144,000 are just a representative sample of all Christians "out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation."

Did Jesus materialize a body and hang out with his buddies? Yes.

1 Corinthians 15:4-6

"...he was raised up on the third day according to the Scriptures; and that he appeared to Ceʹphas, and then to the Twelve. After that he appeared to more than 500 brothers at one time..."

The scriptures show that, yes, the anointed will be able to materialize and hang out on earth and visit in the paradise. In fact, their assignment necessitates that they be here.

"How is an anointed one of the 144,000 going to fix the planet's destructive nature with the deadly storms and earth quakes? Are they going to get quick physics lessons from God or Jesus on how to change the nature of the atmosphere and the geology of the ground? This sounds like that knowledge is way above their pay grade."

Does a baby need a lesson on how to breathe before it comes out of the womb? No. A baby is created with marvelous engineering. One moment it is getting oxygen through the umbilical cord of its mother. The next moment the heart changes gears and the lungs breathe in for the first time. It is instantaneous and no lesson is needed. A butterfly does not need a lesson on how to fly, even though it's never flown before. Jehovah Causes to Become.

If He can help a newborn baby know what to do without any lessons and a bug with a pin head know how to fly, He can help those other ones do what they need to do at the appointed time. If you could stop a storm, would you do it? If you could heal a kid, would you do it? Peter and Paul didn't need a lesson on healing when they were given the power to do it. They just did it.

Job 42:1-3
