  I don't care if I have a 'specific' holiday, I would much rather move those 14 days to 'some other time'.

  
  

  I like having both. I've got 5 weeks of PTO to use when I see fit, but its nice to also have a few where the entire company goes home for a day or two. It may just be me, but when I take PTO there is a sort of nagging background anxiety, because works continues for everyone else and whats my inbox gonna look like when I return?
  
  When we all go home for for Christmas or Thanksgiving it's nice knowing things are pretty much gonna be as we left them when we return Monday.
