a couple of threads over on reddit that there is a letter to elders on restarting meetings.

i find this hard to believe and have not seen anything on this from our trusty sources on this site.

can anyone confirm?.

well, i finally found him on facebook!.

his name is tollie padgett.

he was my congregation overseer (before the "elder" changeover) when i was in prison in seagoville in the late 60's.. i've been searching for him for years and years.

Did you encounter any dishonest/shady business owners inside your local Kingdom Hall?

Why build a new movie studio when we are in the last part of the last part of the last day?

The content made in these studio's will be for internal rank and file use. The studio's will be the engine of the organization, all will be virtual.

My jw family hail the short movies at the congregation because of their short attention span.

i had an elder that was very nosey in my business.

i was so to the point and told him to screw off.

have any you have any stories like this?.

Yes, and it worked out well.

They kept distance from that moment.

Told them that I did not accept their ways to counsel us. In the KH public. They ran away.

Annual Meeting

is it the annual meeting this weekend?

any insights on "new light" or new releases?.

This is one of my red buttons against jw.org.

Blaming Jo Publisher for follow up the organization instructions.

At our circuit assembly the CO told us around 1995 that we had to stop complaining when having a bad paid job because of putting the kingdom first in the past. "It was you who made that dissision and not us."

Since then I new the religion was fake.

1995 generation change

now, many years later, i remember the 1995 generation change, very well.. since early youth, hearing my father explaining in field service the 2520 years.

it was his main theme in the field.. with the change my doubts started.

with some jw friends we did not trust the organization anymore.

The opposite, my father invested since 1970 his money in bricks, just like me. He got a lot of comments in the local congregation because it was not done for the rank and file in the 70's, a sign of spiritual weakness.
