What if the "what's wrong" is your perception of something in particular?

I can't fix that, my dear. But I can stay with you and love you despite your wrong perceptions, until the appointed time God sees fit to open your eyes as regards the matter in question.

I do agree with you that we are alive now, and there is no time like the present to share what we have with others.

That is part of what our purpose in life is. To share what we have with others.

He's known you since before you were born.

He wants you to live for all eternity.

The short time we suffer right now - it's like when a mom goes through labor pains for the purpose of bringing forth a beloved child - the pain is all forgotten when she holds the dear child in her arms.

You did not go through the pain for nothing. And you were not alone during that time.

God is not a "genie". That's why we wait.

I don't blame God. I trust Him. He said He's coming back to fix things at His appointed time. Even if I don't know when that time is, I will still wait for Him.

I work on changing what I can in the realm within my dominion, but I am not God. I am not a "God-spark." I am one of God's kids, just like you are.

There is a life after death. Death is temporary. The One who created life certainly is able to make life come up again.

I agree with you that God is not here to "grant wishes." He was here before we were here, and He knows that sometimes in our short-sightedness what we might "wish" isn't always a good idea. He has enough self-control and respect for us to recognize when to hold back from granting a request.

"You don't have to believe or care or like it. This is life."

God did rescue His people from bondage in Egypt. And He will rescue us too.

He sees you.

God loves you. It doesn't matter if you "partake" of crackers and wine or not. Jesus' ransom already purchased you. He already adopted you as one of his kids. He has taken Adam's place as your first human dad. You're going to be alright.

I know this world sucks right now, but it will get better, and you're going to be okay. You are loved. Please don't be afraid.

Help is on the way.

May you have peace, even during the present calamity.

Even if you die, He can bring you back. You are beloved. Whatever predicament you're in, or dark place you've fallen into, it's not too dark for Him to bring you back from.

Can someone remind me the reason's you could be disfellowshipped?

the only reasons i can remember are smoking, sexual immorality and of course, apostasy.

there must be others but having been out since 1990, i'm drawing a blank.

i was thinking perhaps serious criminal offenses that result in prison, but then i remembered a brother in my congregation in the 1980's who went to prison.

You can get disfellowshipped for telling the truth.

They call it "reviling and causing divisions." That's what I was disfellowshipped for. I sent some emails to people in my KH telling the truth about a dangerous situation because they were my friends and I thought they had a right to know so they could protect themselves and their kids.

You can also get disfellowshipped for being nice to people. One of my friends in a congregation several states away was disfellowshipped for talking to me every few weeks via email after I was disfellowshipped. The local COBE elder here found out because of a group email that my friend's mom sent (she is Catholic, not a JW) but since my friend is related to her, he got disfellowshipped for not repenting of being nice to me.

Where I live, there are people who do spiritism, fornication, adultery, drunkenness, drug abuse, lying, stealing, child sex abuse, blasphemy, and all kinds of things that are supposedly on the "list" for getting disfellowshipped in the JW ORG, and yet they aren't disfellowshipped. Typically they're protected or promoted.

The Watchtower org is not "Jehovah's witnesses" - it's a satanic organization specifically designed to fool people and blaspheme God's name.

He's helped me.

He's helped a lot of people.

Sometimes it's a matter of perspective.

All the people who have died, they're not suffering anymore. They are asleep. It's nice to be able to sleep soundly.

Sure, there are difficult times, but they don't last forever. They are only for so long, and then they end.

Look around you. The sun is higher than the earth. The light is greater than the darkness. The storms will end.

There are issues and things that we don't understand all the details about. But one thing we can be completely confident on is that God is Good and that He Will Fix Things.

He is always worthy of worship. When we don't know what else to do in life, we can always praise Him.

We can praise Him for the sunshine and the air, the ability to see and speak and sing, the beautiful colors of the sunset and the glory of the sunrise. Each bite of food, the ability to digest it, the way we can walk and dance and run and enjoy relations with others.

Even if we only lived one brief day and then died, it would be right to praise Him. He doesn't owe us anything. We owe Him everything.

Praise Jehovah. I will praise Jehovah. He Causes to Become, even if the whole organization that falsely claims to represent Him tells falsehoods about him, even if the other religious organizations misrepresent Him, He doesn't change. He is worthy of praise and worship.

People who put faith in the evolution fairy-tale myth think "change magically happened over billions and billions of years" all by itself, with no witnesses.

I cannot understand such ridiculous poppycock. But, nevertheless, there are people who believe such stories.

By comparison, waiting for a mere few thousand years for an event foretold by a person whose existence was testified to by plenty of witnesses...a person who told the truth and gave many signs to back up that testimony...well, you can believe what you want, but I know what the scientific method says is more reasonable.

I don't believe in the tooth fairy. I don't believe in the Easter Bunny, and I don't believe in cave men.

I know Jesus exists.
