  so sam rolex had this months talk on jw cult broadcasting.

  my question to sam rolex is why not sell your rolex and give it to the cult?

  how about muppet lett, why not sell your rental property in ga and give it to the cult?

  so it looks like about half of my jw relatives are not going back to the meetings once they open up the kingdom halls.

  the main reason all of them give is that if we were truly living in the last days, jehovah would not have allowed the door to door preaching work, and kingdom hall meetings to stop for over a year.. the elders have talked to some of them and tried to convince them that letter writing is accomplishing the same thing as door to door, and zoom is the same as meetings-----------but my relatives just won’t buy it anymore.

  just a note here, at first, the kingdom hall lock-downs, and the no preaching door to door was not that bad,the relatives still held on to their faith strongly because they believed it was temporary.

  Methinks the society made a BIG mistake closing down the Kingdom Halls and door to door preaching for so long. Unless they are planning to be “raptured” soon.

  Wanting articles on statistics for the incidence of csa between the Catholic Church and JW

  had an ultra jw relative say to me the there are only a few examples of csa in the jws.

  the catholics are significantly worse.

  i’m after statistical information that proves him wrong.

  I can’t quite give you that, but I know those stats are out there, especially in Australia. I think, 1006 victims, 1800? Abusers? Not quite sure of the numbers, but compared to the Catholic Church, much higher percentage.

  Would it be right to post Memorial Zoom codes?

  i have come into possession of memorial zoom meeting codes for tonight that cannot be traced back to me.

  i will not be attending.

  what are your thoughts on posting these codes so activists can join tonight and maybe say something?

  I wouldn’t want to feed into their persecution complex by disrupting their memorial, nor did I join it, (my mom asked). I had something better to do, attend my granddaughter’s birthday party. And I don’t want to add to their numbers.

  I feel that, if they have high numbers of memorial attendees, they think they can point to that as “evidence of gods blessing”. I think there’s an unspoken component, too. If 20 million attend this stupid ritual, that means 20 million believe it’s the “truth”. When they don’t.
