  JW trolleys - London

  thought you might like to know that during a visit to london yesterday, the jw's were conspicuous by their complete absence.

  admittedly it was a tuesday in february, but myself and my ex jw friend thought we would see at least one or two trolleys in their usual haunts, but nothing.

  we checked out the area around westminster station where we have talked to jws before, but there was no sign.

  Only came across one-on vacation in New Orleans. They were all smiles when I approached, then turned to deer in headlights look when I told them they protect pedophiles. Lol

  Good strategy?

  so obviously the best way to leave properly is fading, that's a given i would have thought?.

  however i'm in a situation where i'm not sure what to do... i've just left home, nobody bar my parents / gparents know my address.

  at my parents request they asked if i would switch my cards over to the closer kingdom hall.

  In 1983, I moved 30 miles away, no cell phones then. Stopped cold turkey when I moved. Months later (must have been the circuit overseers visit), my dad called and said the elders wanted to talk to me. I told him in no uncertain terms if he gave them my number, I would tell them to go F**k themselves. He was an elder too, he told them to leave me alone. They did. End of story. Semi shunned by some (not close) relatives, not shunned by anyone who matters.

  I remember Christian Guitierrez saying when they made an announcement like that, he couldn’t wait, so he went on line to see if he could find out, and came up with Jwsurvey.org, this happened twice. He then started reading John Cedars website, and the rest is history.

  earlier i posted about the call from close family about that the end is expected in very short time.. today i had the opportunity to speak in person.. this is what is told to me:.

  - the gb speaks to us personality through broadcasting;.

  - the annual meeting was a very clear message from the gb;.

  Remember The Green Song Books

  then new and improved purple song books that came out in 1966. then there was the brown song book and a even newer one in 2006. .

  thousands of hours wasted singing those stupid songs and their stupid lyrics.. song 106 "watch how we walk and watch we talk.

  i remember inserting different works in the lyrics to relive the boredom.

  Fear not those who kill the body, but cannot destroy the soul...when I asked my mom why we sing this because we don’t have a soul per WT teaching, she said if I did too much thinking I could think myself right out of the truth. I guess that’s exactly what I did.

  Anyone notice JW old publications are going way up in price?

  i have long collected the older books and magazines that show the jws crazy cult history.

  they used to be very cheap and i have had people just give me books.

  but now it seems the older stuff that shows the crazy cult history is really going up in price.

  well my son (he's pimi) came to me the other day and asked if i could make a bookcase with hidden spaces built into it.

  i asked him what for?

  he said that they were encouraged to start thinking of and preparing for persecution and hide literature.
