  Meetings via video conference

  so i just heard from a very reliable source that meetings, at least in some locations are now being video fed to the sheeple.

  and guess what?

  one can even comment and be seen by other members of the conference, for more encouragement.. i did see though that the service providing this video tie-in has as part of their tos this: you will receive a notification (visual or otherwise) when recording is enabled.

  I can’t imagine watching the meetings at home, and being forced to dress up in a dress or suit and tie. I’d prefer to sit in my pajamas!

  Rumor of Religion wanting to contact Inactives

  i saw a post on reddit from somebody claiming to be an elder that the jw religion wants to contact all inactives.. some of the responses indicate that some were contacted or had close friends or relatives being asked for their contact information.

  some of these people have been out of the jw religion for many years and have moved on.

  the ones contacted said the jw informed them about cancelled meetings (as though they would care).

  and you would think the fds would have provided the sheep with helpful spiritual guidance in these times of need.

  Just spoke to my mom, their CA this weekend is cancelled 😀. Of course, she also added that “the end is near.” “All the signs are there.” I asked her if they said the same for the SARS outbreak, she said no, I asked if they said it about 9/11, she said no, but NOW all the signs are there. Sigh

  This guy is brilliant! I’ve had so many Indian scammers call me it’s ridiculous. I’m aware, so never been scammed. I could tell stories for days, if I have time, I play along and waste their time. I had a guy call with a very heavy Indian accent call and say his name was Jim Anderson lol. I asked another one if his mother was proud of him for scamming people. His reply, “ I f***&ed your mother last night. “ Then he hung up.
