  The Duggar’s had a reality show called “19 Kids and Counting”. They had a large family due to their fundie Christian beliefs of not using birth control. Their oldest son, Josh, is 33 years old, and has admitted to being a hypocrite, he has a wife and 7 kids, and has a porn addiction, and also cheated on his wife. All this while working as a Washington lobbyist, for some “conservative Christian” organization. They claim to be very good Christians, but you know, hate gays etc. His parents have the 19 kids. Most are now grown, and some have embraced new ideas, like women wearing pants, or even shorts. Some have tried alcohol.

Threads running from these fundies and the JW’s. Trying to claim “clergy-penitent” privilege from testimony of a woman who was NOT an elder in their church, because women can’t be elders. Also, his dad, Jim Bob Duggar, “can’t recall” details about his daughters being molested by Josh. His son clearly takes priority over his victimized daughters. Let me know your thoughts…

  i believe the the organization will tell it's members to sign over their mortgages and savings to the organization.

  because of the impending fall of the financial institutions and the organization is the only place where it will be safe.

  this has to be the only scenario possible because obviously they won't do a jonestown and where could 8 million flee to?

  What's actually recorded in publisher record cards?

  it seems to be unclear if things like public or private reproofs and details around those events being recorded and traveling with you.

  it seems like the details are largely part of whatever judicial paperwork there is and not necessarily attached to your publisher card permanently.

  i changed congregations a few years ago and it appears the letter the body wrote only covered the most recent issue and said nothing of a reproof that had happened a few years prior.

  I faded the same way, overrated, no one could find me. I literally had no phone (no cell phones then), for a whole year, so if they tried to get a number, they couldn’t find anything. I’m not a big phone person, and there was a pay phone down the block, so I didn’t care. Good luck finding me now, 3 addresses later, and a new name. Gone about 38 years lol.

  a friend says the wt gives a substantial sum to retiring cos. he says one bought land and built near him, a desirable rural area.

  i think it must have been saved green handshake money or inherited.. btw this man also thinks the gb are the smartest men alive..

  I think most of the “young wans” who pioneered after high school only did it for a few months or years, no one could afford it. My cousin is in poverty today due to her poor choices to pioneer for YEARS. Her problem, not mine, I’m retiring in 2022. 😀👍🏻

  Their is a scripture about “counting the cost” before embarking on some action or other. These CO’s should have “counted the cost” before becoming a CO. Otherwise, they are “reaping what they sowed” , thinking the big J will provide.
