  just talked to my pimi mom about this special, of course she saw it advertised, but didn’t watch it.

  she told me those programs are “ apostate lies.” i asked her if people magazine is apostate.

  she said no, but the one who wrote the article is.

  i just got home from attending a lovely christmas eve service with my daughter and her family.

  what a nice, no pressure, service, singing the old songs we all know.

  silent night, etc.

  An old memory...

  when i was newly divorced,still attending meetings, some of the younger married sisters got friendly with me.

  we went out (to bars) after the meeting, we hung out, etc.

  then one “ friend” asked me for a favor.

  many exjw’s don’t remember their birthdays or birthdates, some actually guess and are off by a year or two.

  i’m always proud to say my age, and i’m a woman, here’s why.

  i thought i would be dead in 1975. i turned 16 in 1975, and i thought god would kill me because he knew i hated being a jw, even though i hated it, i thought it was ‘da troof’.

  i was going to go to my local kh and p,ace a sign on the door, possibly featuring a smurf and christmas tree..

  i used a public washroom in a grocery store.

  in the stall, someone left a tract on the baby changer.

  my first thought was to trash it, instead i wrote cult on it and jwfacts.com on it.

  New computer!

  whew!got a new computer and couldn’t get in to post anything.

  anyway, i put this in the humor section because i wanted to share a goofy thing that a sister said out in service.

  she said she “knew” that jehovah would preserve disney world because witnesses would need “someplace to go” after armageddon.
