  Christmas Field Service

  on another thread, i read that a few adherents may be traveling (cough-cough) to other cities and wouldn't be able to make field service on christmas day.. what is the likelihood that going out on christmas will be encouraged at the weekend services at the khs?

  ...or do most halls stay neutral on this?

  given what i've read on this forum, i have the impression that disrespecting a day of other's celebration wouldn't be discouraged which annoys the heck out of me..

  Thoughts on going back, am I the only one that feels this way?

  hello everyone, i know you have heard this topic before and your probably thinking.

  ...not again lol.. but i was wondering if anyone has thought of going back for the same reasons as myself, i don't think its the truth but i searched and my conclusion is that other religions don't have the truth, they are all wrong in my opinion.

  if there is no other religion to go too, why leave were i was born and raised.

  i was born in and believe me when i say this i'm never going back i hated the weekly meetings really really hated field service and i felt this way as a child cant imagine me trying to stomach all the bs that flies from the stage if i go back.

  this past summer has been rewarding and distressful, as some would say, it has been bitter sweet.

  my wife finished her degree and is now working at a hospital, (as a janitor cleaning windows), lol.

  oh, we also live in a van down by the river!.

  I'm playing the same game i have a relationship with my parents that i will not endanger due to them being elderly.But in the words of the great michael corleone once they die....it's on my sister is first in my target sight she and her husband have been mooching off my parents for too long now just because they attend the hall.Living with them every other year and bringing there 4 kids, all of them in a house with 3 bedrooms.I could never return home even though i'm not df or daed.I would patch things up with my mom,i know it isnt what you want to hear but don't let the 8 nuts in brooklyn destroy your relationship with your mother,sometimes you have to do things you really dont want in order to maintain or to get something out of it repair your relationship with your mom even if you have to (god forbid ) go attend a meeting at a hall.

  A mistake in fading 4 months ago is coming back to haunt me... HELP!!

  so today, two elders from a congregation i was in two years ago came by the house.

  they said they wanted to talk to me about things that they have heard, and that they want to talk to me very quickly, as soon as possible.

  perhaps before this week ends.. i don't know what to do!!

  indeed listen to comatose and if you have to meet with them do like i did deny deny deny give the textbook answer so they can see that you are still brain washed leave the meeting make plans to move from your mom's house and never set foot in a hall again.My father turned me in to a jc with the circuit overseer and i like the 17 year old dummy i was i confessed got public reproofed.I hoped that meant i could't go out in field service iiiinnnnnnn wrong i could do everything except carry the mic an comment so i stopped going in field service got kicked out returned home in a year they ask to meet with me again and i denied everything denyed the sex,drugs....etc i thought if they had god's spirit then i shouldn't have to say a thing they should already know.These guys suck man play by the rules dont cop to anything try to avoid them as long as possible.I'm in the process of exposing TTAT to my cousin who is studying i told her a few things on the phone thought i was getting through to her, then she said well email me the info iiiiiiinnnnnngggg big no you will not have a record of me sending you apostate info,next time becareful how you explain TTAT to people whilst you are in your mom's house and you dont want to be dfed,leave no records drop hints let them do the leg work that's how im going to proceed with my cousin.Keep your head up i'm hoping for the best for you an your situtation.

  it has been nice talking with you.but i seem to upset a few because of my faith.. so have a great christmas.... & be good, i wont be here to send you to your rooms .

  If the society started posting dfs and dAs on it's website

  i remember as a kid always hearing my mother saying "i wish the society would announce dfs and das to all the congs in the circuit" if the wt would ever do this like post all the dfs and das and inactive witnesses on there website how would this effect you?would it open them up to some sort of legal action?.
