How natural in view of all this that, with the immense task of preaching the good news of the Kingdom throughout the earth in this complex modern world, Jehovah's organization should lean so heavily on the age-old Scriptural door-to-door ministry! Difficult as the task is even with this help, it would be impossible without it. Still there are problems to be overcome in doing this work effectively. Just how we will now consider."

i'm thinking about setting up an aussie apostate state/national convention one day.. where's all the aussies gone since last time i used to come one here all the time.....prisca, uncle bruce etc etc.

New JW Scam?? Here in Australia...

i've heard a couple of times were jw's have befriended old people (particularly one's that live by themselves) and get them to a) join up or b) become good friends with them.

after being friends for a while the jw's 'suggest', 'coax' etc, to the old timer to put them down (the jw's) on their will.

I've heard a couple of times were JW's have befriended old people (particularly one's that live by themselves) and get them to A) join up or B) become good friends with them. I know of one instance where the JW's have cut a whole family out of one will.

JW's want The Apostle AK to get reinstated...

jw's want the apostle to get reinstated.... went to a jw meeting about a month ago (about the 3rd one since i da'd over a year ago) this congregation was my original one i went to (recently moved back to my original area).

(the guy that brought me into the truth) of my local congregation wants me to get reinstated.. but!.

JW's want The Apostle to get reinstated...

Went to a JW meeting about a month ago (about the 3rd one since I DA'd over a year ago) This congregation was my original one I went to (recently moved back to my original area). The P.O. (the guy that brought me into the truth) of my local congregation wants me to get reinstated.

BUT!

To get reinstated I have to send a apology (yes, an apology!) to my former congregation and ask them to give me the OK for me to get reinstated to my local one.

What do you all think about that?? A tad legalistic?

And don't worry i'm not going back OK. (But then again my local cong has got a lot of decent young sisters).............

Message to Uncle Bruce: You father-in-law has lost his marbles!!.......he was giving a talk on Acts 5:42, Acts 20:20 (I think!)..(House 2 House texts)..........I almost cracked up when he keep saying the word "distributive" in his talk.
