can anyone tell me why the society has put their own bent on daniel 1:1 & 2:1?
the only decent reference why, is in the 1946 equipped book.. is it only cos the wt hasn't realised that daniel was using the assession system at dan 1:1 (and the rest of his book) and jeremiah was using the non-assession at jer.
25:1 (and the rest of his letter)??.

in reading posts here for the past couple days, i obviously am only slightly familiar with bill bowen and his crusade.. is bb still regularly attending meetings, and being treated like a proverbial "leper"?.
if so, i say that about 100 of us drive to his congregation for a sunday meeting, attend respectfully, but talk to and treat bb inside the kh like the "hero" that he deserves!
If he ever makes a speaking tour in Australia like Ray Franz, i'll check it out.

in february of 2001, watchtower of australia presented to the government a letter regarding charitable status definition.. is there any news of status determination?.
