  Alan,

  I noticed in GTR your name is mentioned. Are you still in contact with COJ? If you are, Is COJ going to write a part for his book where he tries to explain the 10 year difference between the 20th year of Artaxerxes (455BCE)(start of the 70 weeks of Daniel) and the secular date (445BCE)?

  The 1952 WT bound volume hasn't been available for 2 years.......Is there a link between this and the 1952 Anointed article somewhere??? (Check literature dept. publication index if anyones got it here.)

  All copies of older books (especially Life everlasting in freedom...)(This book was still widely available from literature depts up to recently) have been sent back to branches to be destroyed. Any thoughts?

  according to the watchtower- april 1, 2001, p. 11, par.

  11, peter went to babylon (1peter 5:13) but according to tradition it was thomas who went to babylon.

  so what is meant by babylon?.

  Eusebius was catholic! Of course their gonna say Peter was in Rome. There's no proof that Peter was in Rome whatsoever.

  Peter was intrusted to preach to the circumcised so he'd be expected to preach to the Jews and Babylon had a large Jewish population. The first claim that Peter went to Rome was made by Dionysius the Bishop of Corinth in the later part of the 2nd century.

  Earlier, Clement of Rome both mentions Peter and Paul together, makes Paul preaching in the E and W but Peter never in the W.

  When Peter's letters were composed he'd never have veiled the identity of Rome by another name as the great persecutions hadn't started.

  ...that the watchtower bible & tract society really is jehovah god's earthly organisation.... wouldn't that make you all "vessels made fit for destruction" (romans 9:22 - 24) by being opposers of jehovah god and his true organisation?.

  just making this warning so you can't complain to jehovah god when his "fear-inspiring day" (joel 2:11) comes that you weren't told.. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

  hmmmm... I guess the question everyone would love to see answered, AK, is why you, or any reasonable person, would believe the bible has anything to do with the creator.

  Why? Cos its God's word that's why!

  Instead of boisterously displaying your gargantuan faith, why not tell us a your good reasons for having any such faith in the first place?

  Who need's reasons??

  What evidence is there that the Bible came from God?

  Everything from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21.

  Is your "faith" in the bible, or in the Creator?

  Both.

  Why would the Creator care if someone follows the bible or not?

  Because it show's who's side (s)he is on, God's or Satan's in the great issue.

  SPEAK MAN!!!!! 'cuz frankly, I think I speak for every ex-jw when I say we are all weary from BULLSH*T. Theirs, yours, or anyones.

  You sound confused? What do you expect when you hang around apostates too long.
