I think you are mixing up the baptism and the response you give after the baptismal talk. When you are baptised shortly afterwards, immersed in water, it is in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The rapidity of it all after the Flood really is the problem, Phizzy. Life's distribution after the Flood. Mankind's growth after the Flood, so that already 200 years later nations and cities are mentioned.
If saying the Flood was devastatingly huge, enormous, never seen anything like it, massive results all over the world - but not covering all of the Earth, the problem would be solved.
Millions of years prior to Adam doesn't matter, as long as it all narrowed down to a handfull of people and animals 4,200 years ago.

Quite a few years ago there was a question not about Neanderthals but about other human-like fossils, and the comment was that if these were human, then they belonged to a branch of the human family that since then has disappeared. I guess the Neandethals would be regarded much the same way, they were human, people, but of a branch or race that has disappeared. Search a bit in the WTLibrary and you will find the quote.

Since the only literature in which it will appear, will be the study issue of the Watchtower, and since the January 2013 issue is now available and the change is not mentioned there, the earliest possibility will be the February issue, and the articles therefore studied in late Spring. Since the writing and preparation period for articles is rather long (the 2011 annual meeting was covered close to a year after it took place), then either it will not appear in a amgazine till next Summer, or the change has been prepared for months ahead of the talks, and therefore the February issue could cover it.

"a hank of hair and a piece of bone" ...that is what he thought of women"
Actually, it was Kipling who said that, and Rutherford was merely quoting him .....................

Any document pdf evidence of the supposed court case showing WT funding by the jewish mason...
by EndofMysteries ini'll just quote what some websites have put, and wonder if any pdf's of the letter or court papers on this.

Garbe discusses this letter and other pieces of "proof" in detail, and if anything is certain, it is that the statement that the letter was unquestionably genuine - is a very questionable one, to put it mildly. It is viewed as a provocation, and the wording sounds VERY strange to be put in a letter. What is strangest, though, is that when there was to be a retrial, the letter meanwhile had mysteriously disappeared and has been so ever since. I can have a look in Garbe and see if I find the pages in question. What it undoubtedly WAS, was a part of a very aimed campaign towards the WTB&TS and that it tried to link it to Masonism and the "Jewish Bolschewism" in order to put them in a bad light amidst growing nazism.

Rutherford's smear campaign (a must read)
by Leolaia inthere has been some interest recently about the moyle case, and how it may have set a precident in what became the society's disfellowshipping policy.
in july 1939, the chief legal counsel of the watchtower bible & tract society, olin r. moyle, resigned from his position in a protest over conditions at bethel and rutherford's mistreatment of workers.
he did not want to continue living under those conditions and he felt he could effect positive change for his brothers by taking such a stand.

Nothing but a great forum in front of which to publisize the persecution carried out by the various authorities within the borders of the previous Soviet Union, as well as other nations. Nothing stranger than taking cases to court. WT uses this as an arena to tell what is going on and to try to make changes through discussions, and they have met with governmental representatived for decades, so now they can meet them all at once. I fail to see any problem at all.
