WT Policy on Deceased Pet Remains

we will be putting our beloved pet of 13 years to rest soon.

is there a wt policy, written or unwritten on what could be done with the ashes after cremation?

i assume it's basically the same for pets as with humans but i'm not real clear on what that is.

i assume it's basically the same for pets as with humans but i'm not real clear on what that is.

My old, beloved dog's ashes is resting in an urn under a tree and some bushes I have planted around the spot which was her favourite one in her older days, where she enjoyed sitting or half-sleeping, watching the world go by. Close to her, she has two of her puppies who did not survive, a rabbit and a couple of guinea pigs, the latter are not cremated, though.

Within a couple of months, the present old, beloved dog's ashes are going to accompany her as well, as the present one is very feeble right now, but she enjoys her daily short trips, and she enjoys resting in the garden, watching the overlapping new dog playing around her. It is tough moments when they are closing in on their final days, but it is comforting to think about their having lived a long and full life, where they have been enormously loved and taken care of, and I really cannot think of anything that I regret in that respect. Mutual love, and so they really deserve to continue resting in the garden they loved so much.

It has not much sense to link the trumpets of Revelation to some pamphlets/conventions released/held in the twenties.

Most people who “heard” those trumpets, or at least was old enough to understand the message, is dead by now. So why don’t move this to a future event?"

This is not the current understanding or explanation. The messages or warnings STARTED in the said years, but then have continued to be given ever since. So the trumpets are still being sounded.

usa, arkansas | man fires gun at a group of jehovah's witnesses.

centerton police arrested a man accused of firing close to 19 rounds at a group of jehovahs witnesses on saturday (sept. 28th).

john baldwin, 35, bonded out on $50,000 sunday morning.. according to a probable cause affidavit, three jehovahs witnesses approached baldwin in his front yard at rainbow farm road and baldwin told them, get your (explicit) off my property, i moved out here to get away from people like you.. the report states the jehovahs witnesses apologized and as they were getting in their car one of them heard get me my 9.. baldwin admitted to firing a gun at three jehovahs witnesses when they drove away from his house, according to the report.. baldwin was booked into benton county jail on felony charges of aggravated assault.. several of baldwins neighbors said he moved to the neighborhood less than a month ago.. kristi tidwell who lives nearby said she was home when police arrived at her neighbors home.. my husband and i were working around the house, we had the blinds open in the back we saw probably seven or eight cop cars pulling in there, tidwell said.

I was threatened to be shot together with my then 5 years old son, as we talked to a man in a farm house. He took his rifle down from the wall and started loading. Man, is that low. In another place, on a return visit, the guy was then visibly drunk and yelled at me to leave. I did. His house was at the end of a mile-long path going thru the fields, and as I started walking, he came out of the house, rifle in hand, and aimed at me. I remember the whole time I walked the path I could sense the bullett in my back. Horrible feeling.

The problem is that this is what takes place in EVERY court whenever an abuse case is tried, and slick defence lawyers are trying as hard as they can to destroy the reputation and coherence of the abused. And this I KNOW. From personal experience. For three hours that scumbag lawyer abused her for the second time thru his way of dealing with her in court, and managed to get the monster freed. While at the same time seriously hurting her. If only I had had a knife, the monster would not have been able to leave the courthouse with all limbs intact.

First of all, the HQ is NOT called the Branch - these are tro separate things, the Branch is the center of the US activity, the HQ is the center of the worldwide activity. Two separate entities.

One very wise comment was made, "if there is a major doctrinal shift rolled out at the annual meeting, it will be something that they've already begun to downplay or at least haven't mentioned in awhile"

If you look at the organization brochure issued a couple of years ago, you will notice when it discusses the servant / gb, that it says more or less nothing, it does not say that it represents the remnant - and that is because the change to the gb being the servant was already on its way, and it would be strange to suddenly change the teaching a few months after a brochure had been issued. Likewise now, you cannot change 1914 a month after it has been stated as the start of the last days at a wt study. Look for something that has not been mentioned for a while, that has been downplayed, that has been a bit watery lately, and that is where a possible change will come.

Was I the only one that noticed that in the article on babel and the origin of languages, a stone tablet with Babylonian writing was labelled as dating from around year 3,000 BC? But year 3,000 - that is 500 years before the flood......................

the best conjecture seems to be that the gb are going to drop the literal 144,000 teaching, especially in view of the december watchtower that pointedly does not mention the 144,000 number.

if they are dropping the literal 144,000 number, but still claim that only a small number are anointed, and can partake, and that only a few are left on earth, then it is fair to ask what has really changed?

they are simply clearing up the embarrassing situation that there were obviously more than 144,000 "anointed" believers from 36 ad until now, and that the number of partakers has been increasing in recent years.
