hi everyone, im begining to notice patterns of mental issues in the congregations and among the witnesses as a group.
do you think this is a trend in the entire world or is it exagerated in this organization?.

will come as a part of the watchtower public edition instead of as a separate magazine.
this is a huge change... with serious cost savings.
The only thing the letter says, is that Awake will be delivered as a separate magazine inside of the WT magazine, the same way as large parts of the rest of the world has got it/them for some time. It seems they have been delivered separately till the Spanish congregations for printing reasons till now.
So sorry guys, this was not a notification of the magazine vanishing.

i have been doing some research on wt publications, specifically those that have the key writtings regarding changing doctrine.
the problem is that i am native spanish speaker and i attend a spanish congregation.

my mom seems to railroad me into a debate at least once a week.. anyway long story short,.
she says 'there is no where in the literture that the wt writers claimed that a specfic year it was going to be armageddon.. well i thought there was, and id like to print it or show it to her, i have some older books but not many.. so, is there?
i told her that the wt claimed that 1975 was going to be the end, she said no, they said that was the beginning of the tribulation.. wow, she forgot about the most recent article ablout that already!.

While I find the whole paragraph - and others - "most unfortunate" to say the least, this one paragraph wih the missing part included shows that what is to happen or to run out within weeks or months, is the 6,000-year period, and as it says it remains to be seen whether that period will run parallell to the outbreak of Armageddon. So whereas the intention of the paragraph possibly can be read a you point out, one could just as easily state it calls for caution ................

I think, my friend, that you are somewhat gloomy. Sitting here with my pc after a couple of drinks and a bottle of wine, I read the lines you have written, and I know that nobody tells me what I am to learn or not, that I read whatever I want to read, right now McBirnie's "The search for the twelve apostles", and that I constantly read and consult with what present-day theology and history and biology have to tell.
We are in fact, some of us, educated people, following what is taking place within theological and other research, and I quite simply am so unhappy about this black and white picture that is painted.
Scorned by the traditionalists that one is too liberal. Scorned by the have-been-there's that one is not liberal enough.
