This is not something new. One year ago, it was issued in the three Nordic languages Danish, Swedish and Norwegian, and the title was "The Bible - The New World Translation". It was stated it was because there are many holy books and there could be confusion as to what faith or religion it dealt with, and therefore the term Bible was used to show what it was. so i'm watching john cedars commentary on the annual meeting from this last october, and at one point he shows a clip of garrett loesch talking about the struggles jehovah's witnesses faced decades before in the soviet union.
he claimed that police officers, maybe the kgb, infiltrated congregations which met in secret by studying with jehovah's witnesses, getting baptized, and then working their way up to becoming elders.
ceders jokes that this shows what kind of role holy spirit actually plays within body of elders, but another interpretation came to my mind just now.

You must reread your math books.
You have calculated based on the latest year, not based on the first year.
Year2 - minus Year1 = the difference. Then take the difference and calculate that towards Year1.
THEN you will get the figures correct.

Crazguy, they are not counted twice. A publisher is a publisher whether he is baptized or not, so the number of baptized is not added to the number of publishers but is included in it. Death rate is one per cent no matter the life span, those are two different mechanisms.

I think you have misunderstood a bit. Babylon the Great is said to fall at the beginning of the Great Tribulation, in other words a future event.
The 1919 fall was that it lost its power over the preaching capacity of the JWs. It had no power over them thereafter in the sense of being able to prevent the preaching. So bans cannot prevent, because preaching is then done underground.
