Prayer request For some Friends Of Mine

some friends of mine are having a very difficult time.

there names are glen & judy.

judy has cancer, their teenage daughter commited suicide 6 months ago, and glen (a fellow record collector), got busted by the fbi for having "bootleg" recordings (unreleased concert recordings, etc), and was fined $1000 per recording.. they could really use prayer.. thanks, .

Yeah I know....I don't know how they pulled that off either.
I've got several "boots" myself.

I've recorded several concerts personally.
I have to admit, there has to be something else going on.

Maybe he was trying to profit from them . I don't know.

i was at the hospital all day with my best friend, mattie.

she had a biopsy on her colon this morning.

they are looking for cancer, seeing they can't seem to find anything else causing her problem.

Well, sadly...nothing. I have become socially inept in the past 20 years. I have absolutely no idea what to do, or how to do it, and no one to do it with. I don't know anyone.
I don't know how to be social anymore. I used to be VERY social, but I've lost all that.

Today, I drove to town to the library to check my email. I can check my email here at home. But I just wanted to be where there was people.
Sometimes I sit on the street in my car listening to music and watch people walk by.

Usually I just drive around all day wasting gas in search of "a life".
Either that, or I sit at home playing music, check my email, hitting the refresh button every few minutes.

I'm not trying to feel sorry for myself, I just wanted to know what OTHER people did on THEIR weekends.

Would you kiss up to your boss to get ahead?

this is a question, that i am very curious about, wondering or pondering, thinking if some people would kiss up to their bosses to get ahead in the company that they were employed in; to get a raise, or a promotion, and then i'm thinking of the 'special treatment' clause if you had a personally relationship w/ your supervisor?

i guess w/ my present day situation the thought has crossed my mind, and i can't help but wonder this...if one particular person is "using" me to advance his career.

this is a jw issue, cuz this person is a jw.

No. IMHO, if someone has to "use" another person to advance his/her career or status in the company, I'd say the person isn't worth having around in the first place.

Personally, any position I've held, I worked my butt off, and took pride in my work.

Anyone who would stoop so low as to "use" another person for stepping stone, I would not trust. That person would sell you out in a heartbeat. People like that are cold and uncaring.

I'm trying not to sound too harsh here, but that's a touchy subject with me. That, and lazy people who are just along for the ride.
