Dateline discussed openly in our congregation
by TheMatrix inyesterday, the presiding overseer (elder h) read the letter from the christian congregation of jehovahs witnesses (us branch) regarding their policy on child abuse.
all scriptures were also looked up and read.. elder h is a very prepared brother.
he is a gilead graduate and served as a missionary for about 7 years in kenya before coming home because of illness.

"I know some of you might have some doubts and feel bad for victims of child abuse and how their cases were handled in the past, but don’t keep it all inside."
IE: we want to know who you are.........

The Tyranny of Childless Men
by r51785 ini came late to fatherhood.
my daughter was born when i was 43 and my son when i was 47. becoming a father has been the most profound experience of my life.
nothing has taught me more about the love of god than having children.

“In another words the childless man does not understand the love of God.”
Very bold hypotheses. Jesus was childless and it is my current viewpoint he understood the “love of God.”
Also, growing up without a Father (my "bio dad" had three kids with mom), my mentor was a childless man who does not fit your viewpoints and was more of a Father than my "Bio dad" ever was.
Happy Fathers Day (non biological Fathers notwithstanding)

Sorry:
Most Jws can “relate” without expounding. Dfings, unwed mothers...a father (and elder) who has had his wife, son and now daughter dfed (and still an elder)...........
A typical JW community......

Whopper News Flash!!!
Well kids, it has come to my attention here at the "Whopper Gossip Corner" about a couple of recent happenings in the ever so "happy" whop community.
1) Apparently ole "Sandy RXXXXX" is pregnant. That's right, a bun in the oven. Word has it that the baby will feel right at home marching in fatigues, "IF" you know what I mean. (good god, does that mean somebody (like an 18 year old grunt from Oklahoma) actually slept with that woman? yuuuukkkkk.....) Well I guess this proves what I have always said, "There is an ass for every saddle". (can you say "what personal hygiene?")
2) And in another sad note, a married couple bites the whopper dust. Word out in service is that Reina (RXXXX) AND her husband have both been axed from the brotherhood. Why? No one is talking, yet. Poor Dave, such tragedy. First your wife, then your son, now your daughter. What's next, the cat? Looks like you had better start looking inside your household first. Uh ooo, Toooooo laaaaaaaate!!!!!!!!!!
"OOOPss, I did it again". .............................................................................(lyrics courtesy Brittany Spears)
3) And lastly, everyone of course has heard by now of the tragic death of our favorite slumlord and all around miser, Harold FXXXX. Housing low-life's is a dangerous business kids. (Don't try this at home) Gossip corner sends out it's condolances to Annette and Bryan.
Commentary,
Well, with all of the recent deaths, births, pregnancy's, d-f-ings, television news shows and the like, one HAS to wonder where in the hell Jah's protection is? I would dare say where it is NOT,
at the "KINGDOM HALL"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Until more news breaks kids....................................................
And as always please remember,
YOU DIDN'T HERE THIS FROM ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

Watchtower dissolves congregations?
by TheStar ini have heard this from jws many times.
they say that when the whole congregation is corrupt it is clearly noticable that jehovah's spirit is not with them.
eventually if the whole congregation is corrupt the gb dissolves the whole congregation.. jws say this as if it were from personal experience.

Well, I have read so much stuff, I can’t remember where, but abut a year ago I read a news article that described a legal battle between the WTBTS and a congregation (in California, I think) for legal control of a Kingdom Hall and the claim was based on the local formation of a cooperation by the Elders, the WTBTS wanted them to go, and the Elders said no!......anyone remember this issue?
