Seems odd that the Bible never mentions Pryamids?
by dropoffyourkeylee indoesn't it seem strange that the bible never mentions the pyramids?
how could someone go to egypt at that time and not even so much as mention the huge monuments?

they are tombs, the desolate places, unclean. and bulid during the making of Noah's ark, competing in time and material. -

Disfellowshipping Sounds Wonderful to Me Now
by xjwsrock in2 people were read out last week as disfellowshipped.
of course now the announcement is read "so and so is no longer one of jehovahs witnesses".
they read that statement twice, once for each of the names.

Being DF'd is actually pretty good.
I really enjoy my freedom. I don't have to answer to anyone anymore.
I use that reasoning to remind the elders they are better off to keep me under control. it is in their interest.

Antimatter not so different after all ... poor old Freddy wrong again, another light dims in the JW heavens.
by fulltimestudent inback in the years after ww2, newly discovered antimatter was perceived as destroying ordinary matter, so in one of old freddy's insane nightmares (forget which book, but it was the early 1950's) he envisioned yhwh-jesus hurling antimatter at the hated humans who refused to submit to him, and destroying their bodies bit by bit.. now, his vision dims:.
antimatter not so different after all.
scientists help make first measurement of antiproton attraction.

Using anti-matter to clean up the Armageddon mess will really ruin your day. The meeting of the two will double the energy yield, and convert all completely into radiation. Even Armageddon survivors would need a resurrection, heaven would be a safer and automatic bet. -

Imitate Their Faith = "imitation" faith. thanks,
well think about it, if they base their faith on the flood story, that The last days, Armageddon will be like the flood, and there was no flood, not a global flood, not a flood with condition as they were 5000 years ago, a mere 20 meter difference in the heights of Mt Everest, then, --even if they pretended to imitate Noah, it is an imitation of a non- entity. If the G.O.D members wear Imitation Rolex watches, at least it is a Imitation of what is real, this wt production is an imitation of a mirage, a fake. the discussions start tonight.

tim310rd: Funny how it's not so apparent to the scientific communityYeah scientist are slow learners, unlike the spirit guided G.O.D. experts. Geologists think that Everest was raised by india moving north, raising about 20 meters ~60 feet since the flood. and silly experts they believe, rock is heavier than water, so in a water covered area, the valleys arecovered in less rock, more water, these depressions would actually rise, the mountains sink. But as Jesus said, "If you have faith you can move mountains," and we are discussing the Imitation Faith book right? and
since "Jesus" endorsed the Flood account. who are we to question it? he was a water expert, walked on it, Peter sank of little faith.

tonight is Noah Night at the kingdom hall; faith build on water, not on the Rock below. even if water came for 150 days, that is still ~2 meters, 3 feet every hour, everywhere to cover Everests, and that to make sure every bird dies too;--maybe not the Albatross, but around the wt 's neck anyway.
Noah Night, make it right.

Good, a reminder: this week is the NOAH imitation discussion in the hall. Time to show solidly based the faith really is. Tongue in cheek. The logic, the power of the Almighty. -

Headline: "Islamic Invasion: Europe now scrambles for guns." How true is this?
by cappytan ina year to a year and a half ago, i would have taken this article at face value and believed it.. now, i realize this article comes from a dubious source.
world news daily has a die-hard right-wing bias.
so, in an effort to get real information, i'm asking my european exjw's, is this article all true?

Village Idiot8 minutes ago."It's not cruelty which is guiding my thoughts but practicality.
Food for hundreds of thousands can be expensive.
There are food surpluses. not expensive compared to 1945 prices when a bread was a week wages on the black market. No price high enough to feed the hungry, and it is being done. huddle for warmth.
The only problem I see with this scenario is with the translation of languages. This is the big problem with crime, the illegal immigrants can not be prosecuted under law, no name, no address, hiding behind the language barrier, all Syrians coming from Nigeria, Afghanistan. Kosovo.
