My Experience after Bethel Part 2
by new boy inas i mention before i was going to move to california when i left bethel, to get way from debbie's parents.
so i thought the best thing to do was to go to the service department and ask them were they "needed help" in the bay area of northern california.
this shows you how totally delusional i really was at the time.

What is truth?
by Heisenberg inwell, i have been lurking on this site for several months and i recently decided to join as a member.
i have made several observations and would like to make a few comments.. first, i am perplexed by the attitude of many on this site that are either former or active (but apostate) jws.
they seem to have a strong hatred for the wts and also for rank and file jws.

Truth should be what we perceive and know for a fact. to illustrate, the colours of a rainbow are real, as they are created in the brain. but every rainbow seen is a different one from the one of your neighbour. To the extent that the cause is real, truth can be true, beautiful. The trouble starts when the pot of gold or paradise is assumed to be at the base. -

My life After Bethel Part 1
by new boy inthe day i left it was pouring rain........i really screwed up, i found out the night before, as i was packing things up, that i had way under estimated how much stuff i had.
i had two large suit cases (that i could barely shut the lids on) and a large army duffel bag.
i would guess about 200 pounds of shit......my van was in rhode island with the engine out of it.

Yours' was a cool wedding story of people coming out of the no-pay paradise of full time service. reminded me of us 2 special pioneers going on our honeymoon with $ 50.- in a volkswagen, to the second rate beaches on the east coast. orgasms in the most unlikely places. -

Would a loving creator give humans the gift of free will?
by Heisenberg inthey say ignorance is bliss... well, i wish that god did not give adam free will.
i am ok to not have free will if it means i will live forever in perfect paradisiac conditions.it has been explained that free will is a gift from god.
they say 'who would want to live life like a robot?

HB. If you could stop them from ever dying even though some of their freedom would be restricted, would you do it?
That is exactly what parents Human & animal do. The will to live means that you know your boundaries.Free will does not mean you can sidestep the heisenberg uncertainty principle.

Im sick of my life
by BlackWolf insorry but i really feel like i need to rant right now.
recently my dad was made an elder so my family has been doing a lot more "theocratic" activities lately.
every morning i wake up and put on my itchy dress and stupid makeup and heels and then pretend that i love what i'm doing and that everybody is my friend when in reality i feel horrible and all the other teenage girls at my hall hate me for some reason.

I can offer no advice, and help, beeing not near you, but I implore you to treat your life as something precious, not depending on your present circumstances. good things await you in the future, so hang on and reach out, not in. -

Ridiculous statements in this weeks study article
by the truth is mine inmaybe it is just me but when i read this paragraph all i could do is shake my head and wonder how i used to buy into this crap and how people don't wonder what the hell the writers are thinking'.
"imagine what life would be like if god did not have love for mankind.
we merely have to look at the awful history of this world with its human rulerships under its unloving and wrathful god, satan the devil.

Divergent: but wait - doesn't this invalidate the ransom sacrifice as Jesus did not die without being resurrected like Adam???
but wait, did not Adam die, and paid for all sins, after all if in adam's sin all died, why not in Adams death redemption too? At least Adam proved he was still relatively perfect, lived to ~950 not just 30something.
A loving god providing all these puzzles in "his word." beats crosswords.

it is a strange mix of emotions, the deep satisfaction to be in your own, home, castle, nest and knowing it is not fixed, but can move, shake, bury you. great news of the 93, 92 two year olds that look back or forward to the life they live. -

Sick! "Stoning of Two Transgenders in Dortmund, Germany Prevented By Police In The Last Minute."
by park ave boy inthis is what europe is becoming?
my work colleague in germany sent my this article in an email and it is perhaps one of the most disturbing things i have heard yet.
i have been hearing about many of these recent homophobic and transphobic hate crimes taking place across europe but this one slipped through the cracks.

The sexual assaults against "straight" women, is seen by these men as a sort of punishment against "unbelievers" too. How dare these ladies. offend the sensibilities of these guests by swimming in spandex and bikinis?
