  Overlapping Generation

  the september 2015 broadcast had david splane explain matthew 24:34 “truly, i say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place”.

  his explanation of this scripture was by means of a chart to indicate an overlapping generation.. .

  no scripture was used to show the overlapping generation concept, and as a result it makes no sense.. to illustrate how crazy this concept is, look at the lyrics of the song my generation.. my generation.

  Wt not only tried to stretch the generation, making it longer, they also are asserting it covers a shorter time. because "Jesus" decreed that the generation would include, or see the final destruction (of Jerusalem, the world), but wt writers say: no!, the anointed overlappers will pass away before the final destruction*.

  They shorten the time covered, but try to stretch it by packing more (2 consecutively living groups) into it.

  * the good thing in this idea they love is, that the goal of all jws, : to survive Armageddon, will not be shared by the anointed GB, F&DS.

  my non-jw cousin says my sister and her husband are visiting her more often.

  my sister even put her arms around her the other day and said she loved her.

  i would like to think it's because my cousin lost her husband last march and her daughter has terminal cancer but i think they might be love bombing and working up to a memorial invitation.

  nsw2g: think of a scripture about the term generation" and then he mentioned one about Joseph or something like that?---it was Exodus 1:6 " eventually Joseph died, and his brothers, and all that generation" The implication being that people of all ages were in Joseph's generation, but it was a dead generation of all ages, not continuous overlappers, the wt theory is been thoroughly debunked in previous threads.

  Generation??? No, it's ''generations' That is why in WT lingo it is one generation, overlapping groups. It is more like an relay race in the Olympics, passing the baton, wt writers please note: -- it is limited to 4 --. 2 are done, a limit of only 2 to go. hah. = 2236 for an olympus style overlap lapsing.

Franz who died in 1092, ~ 80 year after his anointing, and a similar individual grabbing the Baton in 1992, would bring the second group to ~ 2075. way off that wt chart.
