the jw/wtbt's anti-scriptural & anti-christ teaching that "a person's own death wipes out their sins" (based on their lie that romans 6:7 is to be interpreted literally) appears to have had a little wedge inserted into it.

despite making numerous accurate references to the fact that 1st century christians had figuratively died to sin, the svengalis at the top of the brooklyn pyramid point-blank refuse to discuss/cite/quote romans 6:7 and its true meaning.

The Searcher, I feel deeply for your passion on this subject, and were you not ready to resign from this board for the indifference you experienced? Paul's arguments on the subject are very abstract. After all, he believed sin entered into the world after the snake talked and the young couple shared a snack. The first naked humans to do that, while the rest of humanity was building temples outside their fenced, gated estate.

WT has subtle ways to keep their followers captive, one way is to keep them busy meditating on things like " what does the word dying mean". like in revelation where dying can mean leaving your religion, if I remember right. so, I too have 2 of my texts about which I am passionate. and people just do not see it, because these artificially created "the bible is right, you better apply it right" barbs, directed against any religion , remember we did it in the service, is futile because --- the bible is not right--there was no talking snake, we do not die because of sin. imho. but, do not lose your passion, just this particular subject.

Generation expiry date?

how long will it take for a jw to see that even the overlapping generation is wrong?.

the org waited and waited to see if their interpretation of it came true.

those alive in 1914 would still be alive obviously it didn't and jws have to believe in an overlapping generation.

i always thought the foreman wore a white hard hat.

besides that i hate the term undeserved kindness.

the gc will experience:.

1. the great tribulation - a gruelling/horrifying time which has never occurred before.. 2. armageddon.. 3. a thousand years of “loving” molding and refinement.. 4. a second armageddon at the end of the thousand years.. the 144,000 will experience none of these things.. isn't it strange that the gc has to prove themself so much but the 144,000 don't???!!!

If you take all the prerequisites for ruling immortally with Christ, all from revelation, the most stringent is in Rev 20. you have to die by the ax, I guess a guillotine would make the class. so, one sure way to make the grade is for partakers to take on ISIS, you might even end up starring in a video to prove your genuine candidacy.

Heavenly v. Earthly Class

reading another topic here on the anointed class of believers, i was wondering if anyone could point me towards a good article that might explain this more at length?

from what i've been able to ascertain, gaining the heavenly class status has sizable benefits over being an earthly class peon, right?

further, the john-class (anointed) at one time was considered part and parcel of the faithful and discreet slave (now reserved for the governing body-class).

for one thing, supposedly being immortal they can combat Satan and the Demons. That why wt now wants the "anointed" to die, be raptured early in the Great Tribulation, well before Armageddon,*** so they can deal with the mere mortal angels. and don't forget apostates. *** if they die before Armageddon, they cant be the generation that Jesus talked about, because he said they would not pass aw ay, flesh of the chosen ones, or the anointed to be saved.

yes, like so uncounted many. because partaking had only in wt writer's opinion exclusivity for the 144k. Jesus served the emblems to the OS. all 12 of them. It is presumptuous to declare yourself to have the assured destiny to rule the universe as an immortal being. The emblems were supposed to confer everlasting life, undo the snake talk tally, and the "anointed" like Jesus are supposed to sacrifice that earthly right. so, now, with the snake talk in serious question, now what?

think about that, in another way: Jesus said that the anointed generation "will not pass away until " The GT and Armageddon are all complete. now, above, you say the anointed will miss out on the fireworks? May be you and the WT ( you quoted) are wrong, may be Jesus is wrong, may be the Bible is wrong? which is it,? or even all three?

I just never thought there would be any personal choice. Partook privately, leave the choosing up to those that give such choices.

i'm sure we've all heard this argument by theists employing the fine-tuning argument.

are you aware, however, of exactly how much this "little bit" really is?

theists would have us think that the slightest change in the distance would have drastic implications for survivability.
