  Which Fits the Facts... Evolution or Creation?

  i recently dug up my old copy of the "creation" book, which i haven't looked at for almost 7 years.

  as i was flicking through, i caught a glimpse of the table on page 112 and remembered how at the time it thoroughly convinced me that evolution was not factual...

  time and experience has passed, and i now agree more with the evolutionary side of the arguement... so i was thinking of various ways to refute what seemed to me at the time to be water-tight reasoning.

  cofty, I am reading right now GALAPAGOS a natural History by John Krichter, have read all but one Dawkin. and am amazes at the scholarship / images on the other topics on that subject. but to my simple mind,

  The fact that we can so well explain, describe, the mechanism of evolution, laws and history of the universe, does not nessarily mean that it came about without outside intervention. (if any)

  Evolution or Creation?--- perhaps Evolution = Creation! (just made that up)

  Think about the wonder of flight that your children enjoy, and birds experience it right with their own bodies, evolving one lttle advantage at a time. wow!

  Malvinas: good advice: ethnic boundries. TV Pictures of the re-conquered Mali towns seem to show ethic negro-type people, the islamists seem to be northern, arab types, not unlike the Sudan vs South Sudan situation. No conflict worse than ethnic and religious combined.

  tater t right. you "see" in the front of your head, but the vision processing part is in the rear, lots of brain in between to add/subtract. no surprise that brain generated stuff passes for eye generated "visions". think of the reality of closed eye dream visions.

  A guest- you guessed it, just picking at your "understanding" of the fabels. to help fine tune them: and to help fader fade.

  You and WT use the expression "at the endof the 100 years-- satan etc.. this is not correct it is "AFTER the thousand years have ENDED--"

  Armageddon is a drawing of ALL the kings of the earth. The after millenium attack speaks of the nations at the 4 corners of the (flat) earth, not united but max separated. not a new world wide re-organisation after the millenium.

  sorry I mixed armageddon and the great tribulation together. will we know the difference when (if) it happens?

  Anybody that will try to build a power structure/ religion on these premises will be continually challenged, as the WT BtS is now. peace.

  it is because there is no set number.

  a set time for such of that group to come in.

  1) the144 000 rule over the great crowd (that comes out of the Great Tribulation) and the resurrected ones, and the angels and all.

  2) The 144 000 go where Christ went , and word has it he went to heaven. answer: heaven not earth.

  3) the jury is out on that one. Temple NAOS is in heaven, the tent, protection is with mankind. Rev 21:3.

  The entity not dealt with is the 12 tribes of israel in the context of REV.7s great crowd.

  try this: 12 tribes minus 144 000 equals Great Crowd.

  caveat: this is only valid if the garden with talking snake and cloned lady before the everest -covering waters 4000 years ago is real.

  there are scriptures talk about new jerusalem descending out of heaven.. rev 3:12 - the one that conquersi will make him a pillar in the temple of my god, and he will by no means go out [from it] anymore, and i will write upon him the name of my god and the name of the city of my god, the new jerusalem which descends out of heaven from my god, and that new name of mine.. rev 21:2 - i saw also the holy city, new jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from god and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.. most scholars feel all this is figurative, because, well, as barnes said:.

  "the idea of a city literally descending from heaven, and being set upon the earth with such proportions - three hundred and seventy miles high revelation 21:16, made of gold, and with single pearls for gates, and single gems for the foundations - is absurd.".

  eze 37:12 - and i will conclude with them a covenant of peace; an indefinitely lasting covenant is what there will come to be with them.

  pterist: thank you, obviously u have studied this and read stuff on it. I am trying to keep things in mind that bear on the question when? does NJ (not near NY, PA) start to exist. Paul warned against the idea that the resurrection had already taken plave in the first century, so when the positions in the NJ are assigned, to the immortal ones take that position? right after 70? Hebr. 10:22 seems not to speak of the NEW jerusalem but the heavenly Jerusalem, an entity that predates Christianity. The "congregation of the firstborn ones-- is ENROLLED-" in the heavens, but could be awaiting the later roll-call to be resurrected. no? Hebrews had only "--approached--" not yet joined that congregation.

  Yes we are in the KINGDOM of Col 1:13, never highlighted in the literature, for not so obvious reasons.

  I am very leary of ideas involving invisible early fulfillments.

  The amazing thing is that we can have these mental constructs using texts that at the time perhaps were not ment to mean that at all.

  My issue with the NJ teaching is that the gates in some doctrinal setups are to allow the immortal ones to enter. the picture does not allow that. for reasons statted in the above cooments. water, leafs for the healing of the nations.

  time will tell, and salvation I leave entirely in the domain of those that can deal with it (if any). profound peace to you too.

  pterist: thank you: ---descending out of heaven--" when? The bride/city made of living stones must be complete before descending? so it must be post- Great tribulation/ Armageddon right?

  The bride descends with open gates -not to let the 144 000 enter, but admit the members of the 12 tribes made up of all nations that need to enter to get at the water and trees inside the walls.

  Living stones RISE to meet christ in heaven, DESCEND to make earthly creation whole. all in the invisible, spiritual but real sense.

  caveat: if the bible story is real valued.

  it is work that gives more evidence to support the fact of evolution.

  a team of swedish scientists led by evolutionary geneticist erik axelsson from uppsala university have identified genetic changes that could have been responsible for the transformation of wild wolves, into the ancestors of our beloved pet dogs.

The creator (if any) always has worked within the bounds of natures' laws, as long we have kept records scientificly. the stories of a 10 mile thick transluscent water/ice layer (or less with higher altitude) is a fable, a fabrication of primitive uninformed minds, long ago. the flood worldwide never happened. migration of all species from turkey into all the world in 4000 years is only believed by Turkeys.

  just what is left after reading all the rlevant scriptures: After a reconciliation, restoration in heaven, Gods attention is on the earthly situation.

  The city is made up of the bride, names of the apostles in the foundations of the walls. So the city is made up of the living stones. Inside the city are the lfegiving trees and the water for the healing of the NATIONS. they gain access through the open gates. will the water be brought out to them? the 12 crps? Schleppen by the chosen, immortal ones? not likely. The gates are open, guarded by angels. 12 names of the 12 tribes? spiritual tribes made up of all nations.

  The coming down out of heaven must mean gods renewal of spriritual/material blessings for MANKIND.

  caveat: this is bible critique, if the fable/ unreal events are verified first.
