this indeed has been stated in the past.. an equally interesting phrase in that paragraph is: "of course, jesus did not tell us that his faithful slave would produce perfect spiritual food.".
again, wt is using the "jesus never said" line.. what would make more sense is: "jesus never said that the food would be imperfect or harmless.".
did Jesus not say "--food at the proper (perfect) time--?". Since dates*** seem to be the main ingredients of the wt fare, with the always and still wrong expiration date, how can the wt output even be classified as proper food?

This is an argument that deserves repeating. assuming that the creator would want to sort out candidates for future life? : he would not want to have gullible dunces. I see parallels between the scientific method of developing a working knowledge of nature, and the religious efforts to explain it all. Most present religions, because they are based on past theories, but declared "holy" that can not be questioned, of divine origin, are actually proven wrong, superceded by what we know now through observation. So:
Religious experiments a la watchtower, putting doctrines out there to see whether they will match upcoming events are futile if based on these ancient, repudiated scripts. The creator has not by inspiration rvealed scientific laws, nor religious ones, otherwise these would prove fulfillment today.

Interesting thoughts that the talking snake precipitated genetic modification, not just a kind of one-dose poisoning, and that the chromosomal defect could have been reversed by treatment from the tree of life.
