first of all, thanks to all the advices you sent me about having an affair with a married man.
i know that isn't a good option, but i needed to hear it from others too.
i wanted to tell you that some months ago, a jehovas witness' cousin sent me an email.
No Lucky Lucy, he isn't my cousin. I really wanted to say nephew, instead of cousin. This guy has an aunt, a women who is JW and told him (her nephew) everything about me. Sorry of the mistake. :)
So then what is he to you????? Is he really related to you at all?
In any case I agree with others here. I don't know why all of sudden he decided to email you, sending picture, and meet you. Maybe he is sincere and trying to convert you back to the WTS, maybe he's not; maybe he's just playing games. Being 28 and lonely is not easy. I know. I've been there. I also met JW brothers who flirted with almost anyone without any conscience.
If he is related to you,and if I were you, I *might* have a cup of coffee with him at Starbucks. But he is not related or so distantly related you cannot even see him as your cute little nephew, I would tell him, "Sorry. I'm busy."
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Ardilla}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} Hang in there. When the time is right, you are going to meet your Mr. Right. I didn't believe it, too, until I met my fiancee when I was 32.
i just watched monsters, inc. for the first time.
(yeah, i know, it came out ages ago.
i was shocked by the amazing similarities between the monsters inc company in the story and the watchtower!
LOL@ Farkel
reborn,.
you have the fire inside needed to take the jw's down.
however, i was wondering, what fuels your anger?
Reborn said: I am what the Watchtower Society fears most knighthawk1981
You are the knighthawk1981? What about the other guy? Do we have 2 knighthawk1981s? Is Knighthawk1981 a some sort of general term?
But thank you for sharing your story, reborn. And always remember that you are not alone.
i have seen a number of post that you have started in the last few weeks addressing or raising many good issues and questions, but do you have your bio on the board.
i would like to know more about you and your exp with the org.
if you don't mind sharing with us your exp i'm sure that many like myself would love to hear it.
R.T.
Thank you for sharing your story. And welcome to the board.
what a day of mixed emotions yesterday turned out to be.. first off, i discovered that someone had bounced a sizable cheque on me.
1600 pounds to be precise, ouch.
her ladyship calmed me down and explained, as everywhere was closed on sunday, that there was nothing to be done until monday, so, big fella, put it from your mind!.
I'm glad the day turned out to be better than what you expected in the beginning.
:-q I, too, like to try different ethnic foods. I haven't tried Middle eastern or Indian food yet. But I think that's going to change this week.
I like almost everything except raw fish. I can eat a little bit of raw oyster and certain kinds of clams, but raw fish??? Please... I even don't like smoked salmon, either. It's too much like raw fish.
I do enjoy sweets time to time. My favorite flavore now is caramel. ;-q It used to be chocolate. But I still enjoy chocolate, too.
I love to cook, and grow herbs and vegetables. I'll bring my specialty, Grilled Eggplant and Chicken Parmesan with Portobello, to apostofest.
.
where else but in the awake could we see a condemantion of predictions while also justifyng their failure?.
LOL @ SYN So true!
Minimus, I would really like to read Farkel's "JW for Dummies".
.
o.k, so if i am incredibly slow and stupid sorry, but is everyone aware that the panarama issue is now defended on www.watchtower.com, i was a little surprised to see it up there, as i have'nt seen it mentioned on this forum before.. you will see it at www.jw-media.org/.
if this has already been discussed, sorry, i'm an idiot.. i have already read this letter on the forum, but i was not aware it was actually on the official watchtower website.
In_between_days, please don't feel that way. I didn't know, either.
( after reading jw-media.org )
ARGHHHHHHHH, they are telling BBC the new policy as if they have been keeping it for decades. And their example of two teenagers committing fornication.....sigh.....you know, even elders couldn't give me a different example than this. Stupid! That's not molestation but fornication! How could 5-year old consent with an adult to have a sexual relationship????
They (the WTS) are really twisted. I hope they get what they deserve at the court of law in September.
i know there has been a anti-perfume thread.
but does anyone use light or moderate amount of perfume or aftershave?
if you do, what is your scent?
larc:I like the natural smell of a woman, with no added perfume. I think a woman who is working and developes a sweat, really smells good. The sweat are called pheremones (sp), and they are a natural attraction. Well, that me.
So I'll work out at the gym when we get to meet eachother. And I'll remember not to take shower, too.
