i love all kinds of music and mostly listen to classic fm when i drive in the uk, being away a lot i have to rely on my .mp3 collection most of the time, or tune in online.. anyway i recently discovered a composer by the name of ludovico einaudi and i think his music is absolutely awesome, listening to it is like learning to breathe again, it's beautiful.
anyway i like a few other composers of contemporary classical type music such as john williams who does mostly movie soundtracks and a few others, and i wondered if anyone else out there was really into any contemporary classical music, movie compositions or full on classical compositions or anything like that?.
who are your favourite composers and what are your favourite movie soundtracks?
I haven't explore more contemporary classical composers these days. Since my focus is on piano, I like Samuel Barber, and I thought both Morton Gould and William Bolcom wrote very interesting pieces for piano for the Van Cliburn Competition. Prokofiev and Rachmaninoff are some of my favorites. I know that they are older than John William, but they are still 20th century composers.
For movie sound tracks, my fovorite is Cinema Paradiso.

This really remindes me of North Korean Political Party. Basically they only have one. Every time they have an election, they say it is "true and fair." But no one dare to vote against the party. Why? Because they know what the punishment from the party is going to be like.

I agree with blondie. Cybersis, you have been revisited by your past traumatic experience. I am DA'd so no jws want to talk to me, which is great in a way. They don't bother me directly, and I get to be free from them in certain measure.
But it was very rude for that pioneer sister. She was invading your privacy. As soon as you sent her a signal that you were not interested in, she should have left you alone. Some witnesses, esp. pioneers, are so errogant. I knew a pioneer sister who would ring the door bell when we were out in the field service 9:30AM. Some people in our territories were working at night and sleeping in the day time. When I mention to her that maybe we should gently knock the door, she said, "Then they should have put a note on their door that they are day sleepers. It is their fault if there is no note on the door."
hi everyone, i would like to share some information about a support group that has not quite gotten over the jw mindset yet.
i tried to close this issue, but a member of this group launched a campaign against me.

JBB, your initial post is not so clear to understand. There are too many ********. But after reading the latter one I can understand better. Thank you. But I still don't see your point. Are you saying that the support group is like the jws? Or Rev and his wife are like the jws?

In the SF Bay Area the weather is dry and can be very cool in summer. So I don't sweat much. Before I got pregnant I had to take shower once in every single day. But after I got pregnant my skin and hair got so dry. So I take it once in every 2 days or 1 1/2 days now.
on my commute i listen to various radio stations to keep alert... and the words from tim mgraws current hit, got me to thinking.... .
