My experience with a group like the JWs

Hi everyone, I would like to share some information about a support group that has not quite gotten over the JW mindset yet. I tried to close this issue, but a member of this group launched a campaign against me. If they want to do that I will just post what they say. The group is made up of ex_JWs. It's called the Hope Group of . We all live in Tucson, Arizona . They tried to go one a yahoo group and tell everyone and that there is no Ex-JW support group in , and that is why there needs to be one. I facilitate a support group in , and this cult group has been told that. They have not removed that statement. The person who made the statement is ********* in . The leader of this cult is Walter Shiel (Wally). Wally and his life have even made such statements to members of our support group like "the reason why you forgot about Easter is because you are not Christian," and trying to encourage our members to only promote our support group in . My wife and I are just flabbergasted at this group's behavior. ********* even tried to say our group had disbanded. She has been notified about that, and has not retracted the statement. ******* actually believes everybody who is not a Christian is flawed. ******* has been so desperate to defend her group and hurt mine that she has actually said: ""Oh! **** you told me you were not a Rev and that you were Buddhist, and part Wiccan, so please enlighten us as to who you really are, since the email says "Rev" again? in an attempt to maliciously discredit me. ******* response to all this was ?we did the best we could." According to ******, he possesses a child porn video in his house. ****** claimed that this video was stolen from a ?cult? called the Children of God, copied and mailed to him. Mr. Shiel is an accessory to theft and transportation of child pornography, and is in possession of child pornography. Mr. Shiel has also been a deprogrammer in the past and was a leader in the Cult Awareness Network that went bankrupt in a law suit involved a failed forced deprogramming. ******* has turned this incident into a circus, and the public needs to be warned about this ***** and *****. I don't believe the way these people have behaved toward me. The Hope Group of is a cult, and has tried to slander and libel the support group that I started 4 years ago. Thanks for letting me share

Jbb, your post is very hard to follow. Do I understand you to say that you were involved in a Yahoo group, and someone insulted/offended you? And that you felt we here needed to know about it?

Assuming this is true, why unload on us, as we are not privy to what happened? Perhaps you should take it up where it started?

When you say " a support group in" do you mean support groups that are still members of jehovahs witnesses?

The support group is comrised of former JWs. I am just shocked that a counselor who says he wants to help former JWs could behave in such a matter
