no I haven't read that book either/yet....but I'm getting there!....having been in for over 30 years it is a real relief to be out and able/willing to read such books. when I was in such books were never mentioned and I had no idea about what really happened with Ray Franz.....all hushed up from the r and f....i have a feeling that intelligent elders and others will, as they feel the dog collar of the gb being tightened,look beyond the kh walls for answers.....I have just ordered ISOC from amazon.......

Missionaries to vacate all missionary homes
by seenitall inlatest news from a source (missionary in foreign land):.
no more missionary homes anywhere in the world.. all missionaries presently in missionary homes must vacate.
must get housing on your own / from the locals.. circuit and district overseers have moved into many of these former missionary homes.. reasons: liability, cost savings, real estate to be sold or used for other purposes.. needless to say, many of these longtime servants are very unsettled.

I'am in the Penalty Box! I asked the Circuit Overseer "Who Donates Blood For Jehovah's Witnesses Blood Fragments".
by AuntConnie intold my husband to put a muzzle on my mouth over the blood dogma.
we all were driving around in field service when the topic of "which fragments would you take if you were in a car accident or cut yourself badly".
said his choice is a personal one, another sister with chronic health problems said she had no problem with the governing body's new light on taking various fragments.

Do you detect an underlying sadness ?
by Phizzy inwhenever i talk to jw's, and even in some of the jw official videos, i detect a definite vibe of sadness coming off these people.. i am very sensitive to "atmospheres" and to peoples emotional state, you wouldn't think so, because more often than not i do not react to what i detect, i just let people get on with it.. but i do get this feeling that they are sad, probably because very, very, very deep down they realise that it is all false, maybe ?.

suspect they are approaching burn out....endless monotony of mind numbingly boring meetings/conventions/special assembly days/co visits etc etc...and yes deep down the internet info is diluting any genuine faith they had...pretty calendars yearbooks and daily dodo study must be tiring for many...

sad and worrying too that so many basically nice people are allowing the gb to take over their own ability to reason things out for themselves. one day surely many of them will wake up and face the fact that they have allowed themselves to sleepwalk into a cul de sac....what a waste of potential.... all this new light nonsense just goes to prove that the gb makes fudge on a grand scale....
