apparently the jws are doing a new handbill campaign.
they were just at my door and offered it to me with one of their heartless and scripted presentations.
the religion has just become so dumbed down.
easy way to place anything with a householder is this approach...
JW:..Hi..I'm going to make you an offer I know you won't refuse..

JW: If you accept this book/mag/tract I will leave at once.

if you allow your child to have a part in the nativity play, it's apostacy.
even if the child just stands there, dressed as a an animal.
with no lines.. even if you've been inactive for several months.. talk about extremes and emotional blackmail!.
it can be hard to get out of that religion....but it's also hard to get that religion out of you.............I liken it to the process of going through a divorce.....protracted disentangling.......
i just got done with another visit at my home with two elders and even though i tried to say very little they took anything they could as a disagreement with them as enough to say they may call a jc meeting after they talk to the rest of the elder body.
so since they are planning on dfing me any way, i'm wondering if i should just write a letter or go through with their meeting?.
don't go...don't give them your head on a plate....because if you appear to disagree with them on anything you will be seen as apostate/evil influence on others in the congregation.....best to not turn up ....for the time being you have the power .....

it's not the making of prophecy but the fulfilment of prophecy which proves it's accuracy............which of their prophecies have come true?....I can think of none....

with so many meetings during the week, it seems like the opportunity to raise questions would be rich.
i just wondered how probing questions are handled in most kingdom halls.
are they taken as an indication of an inquisitive mind or a potential source of stumbling for weak members?
...in the 30 years I was an active jw..whenever anyone did try and ask an 'honest' and spontaneous question they were immediately shut down....only printed material study questions were ever allowed..........yet I know that after meetings some brothers/sisters had points to raise but were afraid to express'doubts'.....

..little question...just seen mother on news in distress having lost her 2 month old baby.....in resurrection..(?) at what age will baby be resurrected..and what age will mother be.........and on the tragedy I'd like to congratulate god on a splendid days work.....not...it's all well and good to say that Jehovah will 'help our brothers'..but all he had to do was to have diverted any storm away....sorry..but I'm having issues with all of this at the moment...were I still on the ministry I could not explain to a householder why it happened....
so today, two elders from a congregation i was in two years ago came by the house.
they said they wanted to talk to me about things that they have heard, and that they want to talk to me very quickly, as soon as possible.
perhaps before this week ends.. i don't know what to do!!
..dont' meet with them.........why give them the gun to shoot you?.......walk away..stay away..but whatever you do ..do it for yourself....be honest with yourself...
