I also read that guy's blog and he is just another crazy apologist. But he has been acussed of beign an apostate, but a lot of the current JW's continue to send him tons of pictures and info about the worldwide work JW's think they are doing.

If God knows how we are wired, Why punish people for being gay?
by suavojr ini just finished reading this story on yahoo, two comments stick out and cannot comprehend why can't we just show true love and stop beign hurtful to our flesh and blood.
so yes, if god made us and knows how we are wired how can god kill a person for beign gay when they did not choose to be gay?
why the more religious a person is, the more fanatical?.

Instead of viewing gays, for example, as normal and acceptable, becaue of the false premise from which the argument begins, gays are somehow evil, wicked, doomed for destruction. They can't be right and they can't have been born this way. It has to be a choice. 'cause god . . .
Thank you for that observation, it is hard for a person like me to think outside the realm of a God. Therefore my false premise is the reason why I can't reconcile the pain and suffering that we cause others just because we are not alike.
The more a theistic person studies human behavior and the reasons why we do what we do, the less likely a God has anything to do with our way of life. But this false premise still does not cancel the the concept of a God. Only our perception of a God simply changes with the knowledge of the moment. That to me is the challenge of a believer, trying to make sense of book that is looked at as infallible.

by Separation of Powers ingot caught at the supermarket (in between the martini olives and snack crackers ) with several bottles of hard liquor in my basket along with some red licorice by a sister that has known me for years.
still respects me, not knowing that i am in full fade mode, or at least not recognizably knowing.
anyway, when she sees me, her eyes get all big and she heads in my direction, nearly ramming my liquor laden cart with her vegan oriented basket.. "hey sop, how are you doing?

Now that was funny!!!
After the so called EVENT my wife made arrangements to go out with a couple from the hall and eat at a nice high-end restaurant. The best part about this EVENT is that I will not go out preaching and Sunday I am going to the beach.

their bus blew a tire and veered into traffic catching fire in the accident.
8 people died and 14 others were injured.. how do people of faith come to terms with those considered faithful meeting such a tragic end and causing the deaths and injury of others.. ap news service.

Tragedies like this have no logical explanations and are all dismissed as God's will and that God has allowed some of his servants to die, it is a hard pill to swallow.
