i havent been going door to door saturday mornings for since i can't remember when.
i have been putting in regular reports to the congregation but the last time i actually went on a door was probably six months ago or so and it has been at least 2 years since i did a saturday morning.
9:30 we showed up to the group arrangement, we waited outside because we were not sure that it was the right place.
as always outlaw is very funny

And you guys have not even mentioned how even in the US we have territory that is hardly preached.
i walked in about 10 minutes prior to the start of the meeting- i sure looked like an unusual visitor wearing my best jeans a golf shirt and my yarmulke.. the first brother who approached me was an slighly built late middle age guy- he gave me a big hello and extended his hand.
i pulled out my 'end of false religion tract' and showed it to him.
"did you put this in my door?
The ex-jw people will not go out door to door because you don't have Jehovah's spirit
whenever i need to find a watchtower quote in a hurry i hop over to jwn real quick and do a topic search knowing blondie will have posted exactly what i'm looking for.. .
thanks for your diligence, .
it really helps!.
Thanks to Blondie I was able to enjoy a true watchtower study
i was in a chinese take-out the other day and saw a couple of very recent awake and watchtower magazines on the counter, amongst other magazines.. i had a good flick through both of them and noticed how very similar both magazines now appear in terms of appearance and content.
i was left with the distinct impression that the public edition watchtower is now basically indiscernable from the awake!
regarding content.
i attended the school late last year, and it was an emotional and mental rollercoaster for me.
i was already divided in my heart to say the least.
one of the instructors stayed in my home for the week, and my family genuinely enjoyed his company.
Missed this thread the first time but great info
i think this is a hush hush topic among jws but i remember years ago at an assembly i saw two sisters(i am only assuming they were jws they could have been studies or relatives of jws) walking arm and arm like a married couple.
some of the jws looked at them like they had horns.
some of the jws moms were covering their small children's eyes and those two women were stared at like they had the plague.
I know of two cases and one of them is my first cousin who left her abusive husband and has a female partner now. The other was df'd but came back, my cousin never looked back.

by modern ethical standards; we consider such a man as a dictator and a criminal.
it is irrelevant whether the victims were wholesome, good, bad, ugly, strange or just plain creepy.

And to think the JW's will be studying next Sunday "You are my Witnesses"
