you will be surprised that the pattern that was followed is very similar to what happened in other dictatorial countries.. in the cuban case, i am going to surprise you and tell you that like what happened with hitler; the wt was partially responsible for their clash and confrontation with the cuban government.
during the early 60s the revolution was fighting for survival and they were willing and ready to demolish any perceived enemy to their cause.. a prime example was their war against the catholic church that was the most influential religious entity in the country; it took the supreme leader only a few public discourses to send the vast majority of clergy packing and back to their country, in this case spain.. the jehovah’s witnesses were an insignificant minority but they over estimated their importance and displayed a belligerent attitude, it was known that this was a us based religion and an easy target to connect them with the cia.

The Irrational Psychopath Landlord
by The Marvster inwell after a few years of lots thinking, questioning everything, and deconstructing of jw logic, i keep coming up against some problems.
though i probably consider myself an agnostic nowadays, one of the conclusions i keep coming back to is, if there is a god, looking at the way nature is structured, for example the predator-prey system that is indispensible to the survival of organisms, he is unlikely to be the same loving guy that's described in the bible (could he not have come up with a more compassionate system of survival in his limitless intelligence).
then again sometimes the actions described in the bible make him look like the description in the title of this thread... jw's definitely didn't help much with their logic.

Welcome to the first steps to free your mind. Morality comes from our ability as humans to predict future consequences of our actions and make choices to help us gain a better outcome for everyone involved. In the flood scenario, you clearly see how God only cares about his own egotistical importance. With time you will see God is dead, and yes we killed him. they truly believe they are entitled to live an easy life at the expense of others.

Sorry for the generalization, but damn! I'm born in and have lived in two states and outside the US and have never come across a CO or DO who has said thank you for the gift. I guess it has been my experience and thought many were the same way. -

These guys just visit each congregation week after week, collecting tax-free money to later enjoy a lavish vacation. They get what they deserve when mother cuts them of as they did with all of the ex- Do's.
