Use of first names at the KH
by Sour Grapes inhave you ever noticed that know one uses first names at the kh?
it is how are you brother jones?
how are you sister smith?

A cultural phenomena as well. I have noticed this in the US and in Germany. In Norway, we always referred to each other with first names in the congregation most of the time. And skipped there brother and sister thing. Does not sound "natural" in our language, albeit in official congregational settings. -

There will always be people who are religiously inclined even in a secular society, searching for answers and when JWs satisfy that they end up becoming one. -

I have a feeling that baptism at a young age is not that widespread in Europe, at least not in northern Europe as it in the US and other areas. -

Even though retention might be 2/3 in the US (as shown by studies), it does not necessarily mean it is the same worldwide...

Name "UNWRITTEN" Rules That JWs Are Supposed To Follow
by minimus inas with the scribes and pharisees, there are a number of unwritten rules that witnesses are supposed to follow.
here's a couple : "worldly" kids in society depictions are shown quite often wearing their baseball caps backwards.
jehovah's witness youths would not want to imitate that "look".

Lucky Scandinavian sisters.... They might go to Magix Mike XXL then, since in Norway it is allowed for all ages... whereas in the US it is a big no no since it is an R-rated film... Oops, of course their bible trained conscience would of course not allow them to go anyway.
