Why Jehovah`s Witnesses are wrong emphasising the name Jehovah.

hi friends, feel free to correct me where i`m wrong with this post.after all it`s just my observation of jw`s and the bible.. in the beginning of gods dealings with adam it was on a personal level , god to man so to speak.. god then dealt with humans via the patriarchs , then with the levi priesthood ,then judges ,( and a woman was a judge ) then kings ,somewhere in between all of this prophets played a major part ,and then came jesus christ the messiah.. and to my knowledge god has not validated a successor to him with any evidence i`ve seen .. jehovah`s witnesses claim to be christians but have with no new testament backing usurped jesus with jehovah.. this period of time ,until god says otherwise ,christians are to give honour and glory to none other than jesus christ .. that is the name that is above any other name until god says otherwise.

phil.2:9-11. not the name jehovah .the bible never says anything about a kingdom of jehovah ,the coming kingdom is the kingdom of jesus christ with his associate 144,000 earthly subjects.. this is just my understanding of what the bible actually says .. whether i believe it or not is another matter..

Furthermore, there is no salvation, in anyone else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved...........

The reference in front of other name as captured in the NWT Bible 2013 in the book of Acts 4:12 has phillipians 2:9,10.

The organization loves manipulation and merry-go-round things. Whenever they approach from here on, I tend to throw a pointed question at them using Acts 4:12 or Phillipians 2:9,10.

According to the two scriptures above, to be saved, do I have to call upon Jehovah?

Do I have to be a Jehovah’s Witness to call on Jesus?

Should they say yes, which I believe they won't. I ask further. Do JWs call on Jesus to be saved?

Do Other Sheep have Eternal Life Now?

one of the benefits of justification is eternal life for believers.

i found an interesting passage from the wt, june 15, 1974 which reads:.

"it is to the spirit anointed christians who will rule in that kingdom that most of the christian-greek scriptures is directed, including the promise of everlasting life.

And we have seen cases where the WT states that account of 1 Timothy 6:14-16 refers to JESUS CHRIST. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2005649 but limiting Jesus being called only POTENTATE and having the ONLY ONE HAVING IMMORTALITY as comparison him with fellow humans on EARTH

@ Tameria2001 after all taking care of one household is part of the service to God. Being a pioneer is no room for excuses or slackness in those areas too.

Upcoming Neutrality Talk Oct 26, 2020

thanks petra and atlantis for providing the latest announcements from the watchtower.. they are telling congregations to replace the 15 minute local needs talk in the midweek meeting of october 26th with a talk on neutrality.

i am not sure if this is due to there being a usa election on tues 3rd, november or because of their worldwide preaching campaign targeting government officials.

it does sound like it is due to the usa election due to comments about propaganda and political promises.

It is said, man is a political animal. Definitely ORGANIZATION built by man are POLITICAL CREATION of MAN. It's a pity that the WTBTS despite calling itself only God's ORGANIZATION on EARTH is a Political animal. For the ORGANIZATION to operate in any land it has to PLAY POLITICS by dancing to the TUNE of "ARTICLE OF ASSOCIATION" which carries it is own politics and POLITICKING.

IF JWs campaign for ONE Government against the OTHER, what do we call that............. POLITICS

What they seem to miss here is that every magazine distributed is as good as ONE VOTE for "JEHOVAH’S GOVERNMENT" in the eyes of JWS. The reason you see emphasis on placement as much as possible.

Note the parts of "HE SAYS"......... "HE SAYS"............. followed by the commands of MEN in this case RUTHERFORD................... the issue here is the Lord didn't say ANYTHING about all what was written in that article. It was all COMMANDS of MEN. It is in such commands people SPIRITUALITY and INTEGRITY are tested and measured. Should she default in a month, it will be counted as spiritual weakness or slowing down spiritually and has stated earlier she just handed herself over to full control and increased surveillance on you as well because any slow down on her part will be seen as YOU not doing ENOUGH to support her or a case of you PERSECUTING her.

In the land of JWs, a pioneer, a wife beater of a man in this case who reports 70 hours monthly is seen as a BONAFIDE JW while the wife of the same man who is equally a baptized member who don't report is seen as not a BONAFIDE JWs.

What does the above tell you? Spirituality is measured in as many hours or figure you can supply in COOKED or UNCOOKED form and added to this the FAQS on the website states they only count as JWs those who report their preaching activities regularly.

Reason along with her, you might be fortunate something will make her do a rethink.

Watchtower July 1 1943 is what I will ask you to get and reason alongside her about the GENESIS of PIONEERING based on the account of Jesus saying they TEACH commands of MEN as doctrine.

If you can get her to to reason that the PIONEERING work is just the construct of Rutherford to subordinate JWs and Lord it over the members.

Whatever they have have used to label other Christians denomination as being false is the same thing the organization does.

@ Seabreeze and that their cunning and manipulation of words is one way of getting back at them. Especially the word CHRISTENDOM. Some even went as far as looking for meaning to fit their ideology

1919 2013 2020 and the Slave

i was never a jw but i lurk in this forum occasionally, trying to rescue some family.

i will spare you those details.. jw.org and jwfacts are there with youtubes out the wazoo but i would appreciate your thought on this.. i know there are contradictions plenty but this is foundational, blatant and current.

i know they typically just blow off.

Earnest: Jehovah's Witnesses do not identify these slaves with the "faithful and discreet slave" of Matthew 24:45-47, and it can be seen when reading the verses prior to vs 45 (vss 32-44) that they refer to the coming (not going) of the Son of Man.

LLTR: Who really is the faithful and discreet* slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time?+ 46 Happy is that slave if his master on coming finds him doing so!

A closer at on coming, signifying his return which still shows before he left, the slaves had been given a task.

So according to this watchtower....... In 1919, a time of spiritual revival, Jesus selected capable anointed brothers from among them to be the faithful and discreet slave and appointed them over his domestics.w130715

They are saying ON COMING the master the finds Russell and his cohorts as that faithful slave appointed to feed his domestics but still to be appointed over all his belongings

The problem here is ON COMING, the initial task was given when he LEAVES, when the master returns, he confirms is diligence to initial task and REWARDS the slave with appointment all over belongings just like the other illustrations
