Governing body giving false alarm as a watch dog
by Longlivetherenegades ini need help regarding a video where geoffrey jackson likened the governing body to a watch dog given false alarms to its owner just like they do regarding numerous false alarms about the world coming to an end.
here is why i need that video.
to make comparison with the words of geoffrey jackson (the false dog illustration) fully, the words of gerrit losch (who was reading out list of those who had given false predictions and alarms in times past before jehovah’s witnesses took over) .

and the watchtower referenced below.....
Today only one organization is exclaiming about this real peril. This is the New World society of Jehovah’s witnesses. For many years now they have diligently sounded the warning. All others have remained silent. This very silence is the sign of a false religion. The Bible calls false religionists “dumb dogs” because they do not exclaim in warning: “They are all without knowledge; they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.”—Isa. 56:10, AS…Watchtower March 1, 1955 pp. 131-132)
What is the difference between a dumb dog that cannot bark and a dog that gives false alarm? A dog that barks but lack intelligence in what it does, is that dog not equally dumb?

How the use of "our understanding" exposed Jehovah’s witnesses as liars
by Longlivetherenegades ini have come to notice something about jehovah’s witnesses.
whenever you point out their lies and manipulations, they run under the cover of "our understanding" .
they will say our understanding then was this, or that.

I have come to notice something about Jehovah’s witnesses. Whenever you point out their lies and manipulations, they run under the cover of "our understanding" . They will say our understanding then was this, or that. They will never agree that they lied, they use the cover of our understanding to cover up or deny they lied. This our understanding relies so much on Proverbs 4:18.
Let's see the example that follows......
What was their understanding regarding Romans 13: 1 in the year 1952?
The Jehovah’s witnesses understanding was that God and Jesus are the superior authorities or governmental authorities.
What was the Jehovah’s witnesses understanding about Christendom who believed that Romans 13 was about the governmental authorities on earth today.
They stated........
False teaching such as that the political powers of this wicked world were the higher powers of Romans 13:1 who must be obeyed even though they contradicted God's expressed commands.
From here their understanding and belief was...... Christendom teaches false doctrine, contradict God's expressed commands
Since they love to hide behind our understanding? What is the latest our understanding of Jehovah's Witnesses regarding Romans 13 :1?
For some years, until 1962, Jehovah’s Witnesses held that the superior authorities were Jehovah God and Christ Jesus. However, in line with Proverbs 4:18, light increased, and this view was adjusted.......... superior authorities are now : the kings, presidents, prime ministers, mayors, magistrates, and others who wield secular, political power in the world.
This becomes interesting because the question this raises will be, what is their our understanding about Christendom now and the fact that they stated they were teaching false doctrines and contradicted God's expressed commands now?
Definitely their our understanding regarding Christendom and this teaching now will change to
1. Christendom do not teach false doctrines regarding Romans 13:1.
2. Christendom do not contradict God's expressed commands.
When Christendom now say categorically that Jehovah’s witnesses teaches falsehood and contradict God's expressed commands, Jehovah’s witnesses hide behind "our understanding" forgetting their "our understanding" now equally calls the Jehovah’s witnesses false teachers, liars and those contradicting God's expressed commands. For by their(Jehovah’s witnesses) words they(Jehovah’s witnesses) will be justified, and by their words words they will be condemned." -

One paragraph for Pyramidology , Governmental Authorities and Charles Taze Russell
by Longlivetherenegades inkudos to @terry on this one.
watchtower july 15, 1952 page 426......... however, coming from apostate religious systems these brought with them many beliefs and practices which were, in fact, just so much wood material, hay and stubble.
among such were the beliefs that it was necessary to develop a beautiful character to get to heaven and that that was a christian’s chief duty; the notion that christians must appear sanctimonious and pious, evincing more concern over what men thought than over what god thought; false teachings such as that the political powers of this wicked world were the “higher powers” of romans 13:1 who must be obeyed even though they contradicted god’s expressed commandments; that a pile of stone in egypt constituted a witness to jehovah (isa.

Request!----Atlantis Is There Anywhere Else The Watchtower Admits?
by Atlantis inatlantis, is there anywhere else that the watchtower admits that disfellowshipping or excommunication is pagan?.
sure, they said the same thing back in 1880 about a lot of churches being like the beast for practicing excommunication.. as papacy established the priesthood over the church, soprotestantism has established almost the same, and there isno opportunity for the body to edify itself, every joint takingpart.
true, there is a seeming show of liberty at prayer meetings,&c., but it is only upon the surface, for the ordainedpastor is to watch zealously lest anything contrary to theteachings of his church should be expressed, and if so tosilence the audacious member at once, for the church creedis the rule, not the word of god.

How and why will Michael need blood of the Lamb to battle with the dragon?
How come Michael needs blood of the lamb if Michael is indeed Jesus Christ?
Is there anything like blood of Angel Michael in the scriptures?
And war broke out in heaven: And war broke out in heaven: Miʹchael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them any longer in heaven............... And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their soul even in the face of death.
........ The psalmist lamented: “Not one of them can by any means redeem even a brother, nor give to God a ransom for him; (and the redemption price of their soul is so precious that it has ceased to time indefinite).” The New English Bible says that the ransom price was “for ever beyond his power to pay.” (Psalm 49:7, 8) Who, then, would provide the ransom? Only Jehovah could provide the perfect “Lamb . . . that takes away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29) God did not send some angel to rescue mankind. He made the supreme sacrifice of sending his only-begotten Son, “the one he was specially fond of.”—Proverbs 8:30; John 3:16........ Watchtower February 15 1991page 14 paragraph 15

@ Rattigan350
You need to consult your manuals and stop defending those who deem themselves to be apostles of which they are not.
If a publisher in the congregation is known to have unnecessary association with disfellowshipped or disassociated relatives who are not in the household, elders should use the Scriptures to counsel and reason with him. Review with him information from the Remain in God’s Love book, page 241. If it is clear that a Christian is violating the spirit of the disfellowshipping decree in this regard and does not respond to counsel,he would not qualify for congregation privileges, which require one to be exemplary. He would not be dealt with judicially unless there is persistent spiritual association or he persists in openly criticizing the disfellowshipping decision.

February 2017 watchtower........ The Governing Body is neither inspired nor infallible. Therefore, it can err in doctrinal matters or in organizational direction. In fact, the Watch Tower Publications Index includes the heading “Beliefs Clarified,” which lists adjustments in our Scriptural understanding since 1870. Of course, Jesus did not tell us that his faithful slave would produce perfect spiritual food.
Vs
Article 13.........At times, we might reason that the direction Jehovah gives us is not sufficient. We might even be tempted to “go beyond the things that are written.” (1 Cor. 4:6) The religious leaders in Jesus’ day were guilty of this sin. By adding man-made rules to the Law, they imposed a heavy burden on the common people. (Matt. 23:4) Jehovah gives us clear direction through his Word and through his organization. We have no reason to add to the instruction he provides. (Prov. 3:5-7) Therefore, we do not go beyond what is written in the Bible or make rules for fellow believers about personal matters.
Nope Jehovah cannot give clear directions. It will never happen, it simply cannot since the voice of Jesus and Jehovah are filled with errors and mistakes in doctrines and organisation direction.
Don't ask me how I know, ask Jehovah and Jesus the Guardians of our Doctrines. Delusions and they don't know they are deluded.

You are not dedicated to Jehovah, Jesus alone, you equally dedicated yourself to the religious organization called Watchtower and the numerous policies used in running the corporation. So when you seek repentance and forgiveness from Jehovah and Jesus, you will equally go and bow down to them to forgive you to live according to your dedication. Hope the message is clear Sue. Stop worrying here and there about their actions. On the outside they look like sheep, on the inside when you have eventually agreed to dedicate yourself to them they are wolves. They won't treat you kindly when you cross those policies codenamed keeping the congregation clean. You have to follow their dictate just like people do in the numerous organisations out there they work or you get thrown out.

When persons are in great danger from a source that they do not suspect or are being misled by those they consider their friends, is it an unkindness to warn them? They may prefer not to believe the warning. They may even resent it. But does that free one from the moral responsibility to give that warning? -- The Watchtower January 15,1974
The JW or Watchtower is not the truth. Read the extract from Ray Franz words in his book In search of Christian freedom pg 712 the first paragraph there
"In summary, then, even as I am convinced that the one true religion is christianity itself, not some religious system claiming to represent and exemplify it, I also believe that the truth is found in the Scriptures, not in any particular set of interpretations that men have developed or may yet develop. That truth is not only in the words themselves but also in the revelation they bring to us of God and of his Son. We will almost inevitably differ in our understanding on some points but, if governed by God’s spirit, should have no great difficulty in agreeing on those teachings clearly and plainly stated."
What you call truth so far are what I call the indoctrination of watchtower. Had you read the bible outside of watchtower's interpretation you will see that the Watchtower kept shooting itself in the foot by saying they are the one true religion and the truth. Why?
1. Jesus said.... he is the way, the truth and the life. Watchtower too say they are the way the truth and the life. You cannot serve two masters. One of the master here(watchtower/guardians of our doctrines) are error prone, make mistakes in doctrines and organisation direction and are false prophets up till date. The Jesus you know is not like that.
2. Who are those doing God's will today? Watchtower wants you to believe that Jehovah’s witnesses are the only ones doing God's will today but you know your Bible tells you that...... For whoever does the will of my Father who is in heaven, that one is my brother and sister and mother.”. The Jehovah’s witnesses taught you that you that Jesus has only 144000 brothers all others are friends.
3. Jehovah’s witnesses taught you have to be a member of their religious organization to have everlasting life. That is not what your Bible says. It states.... For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day.”
4. Jehovah’s witnesses indoctrinate and manipulate you into thinking Matthew 7:13-14, talks about religions and that the narrow road or way leading to everlasting life is the Watchtower organization. Your Bible and Jesus taught you that there are two ways broad and narrow and your same Jesus says he is the way to the truth and life.
5. James 1:27 states The form of worship or religion that is clean and undefiled from the standpoint of our God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their tribulation, and to keep oneself without spot from the world.
No where in the scripture above states that worship or religion is the Watchtower organization or the Jehovah’s witnesses. The Watchtower organization cannot keep itself without spot from the world based on its numerous organisation policies and procedures that keeps abusing children, leading members to commit suicide and policies that goes against God's ministers as found in Romans 13. They went ahead to publish the book pure worship restored at last but you know the pure worship they restored has nothing to do with James 1:27.
It will be of interest for me to know the duration between your Bible study programme with the Jehovah’s witnesses and baptism and how long have you been a baptized member. Finally, nothing the Jehovah’s witnesses propagate as truth and as been the only true religion here they did not obtain from somewhere else. All what they teach as truth today exist long before the religious organization you know as Jehovah’s witnesses came into existence even the name Jehovah did not originate with this religious organization. The reason a notable ex-member called it a grand fraud.
