  @ Seabreeze and that their cunning and manipulation of words is one way of getting back at them. Especially the word CHRISTENDOM. Some even went as far as looking for meaning to fit their ideology

  i will spare you those details.. jw.org and jwfacts are there with youtubes out the wazoo but i would appreciate your thought on this.. i know there are contradictions plenty but this is foundational, blatant and current.

  Earnest: Jehovah's Witnesses do not identify these slaves with the "faithful and discreet slave" of Matthew 24:45-47, and it can be seen when reading the verses prior to vs 45 (vss 32-44) that they refer to the coming (not going) of the Son of Man.

  LLTR: Who really is the faithful and discreet* slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time?+ 46 Happy is that slave if his master on coming finds him doing so!

  A closer at on coming, signifying his return which still shows before he left, the slaves had been given a task.

  So according to this watchtower....... In 1919, a time of spiritual revival, Jesus selected capable anointed brothers from among them to be the faithful and discreet slave and appointed them over his domestics.w130715

  They are saying ON COMING the master the finds Russell and his cohorts as that faithful slave appointed to feed his domestics but still to be appointed over all his belongings

  The problem here is ON COMING, the initial task was given when he LEAVES, when the master returns, he confirms is diligence to initial task and REWARDS the slave with appointment all over belongings just like the other illustrations

  My response to the above quote:

  In all those slave illustrations, it was when the MASTER was LEAVING, TRAVELLING e.t.c that he handed out tasks to his slaves not when he RETURNED.
  

  The teaching above says Jesus appointed them over domestics when he RETURNED in 1914.

  
  What do you think about Christ return in 1914? Has he returned or he is still to come. When you sort this out, you see the point made.

  In my country the preaching work is over

  the jws in my country can't preach to anyone these days and they're going crazy.

  i live in romania and initially during the covid-19 lockdown they were very enthusiastic about preaching.

  they've since held daily "field service meetings" on zoom.

  Letter of disassociation from WTBTS does not mean letter of disassociation from Jehovah.

  Infact letter of disassociation confirm you rubbed their own words as found in the Bible teach book page 183 "remember too that you have made a dedication to Jehovah God himself, not to a work, a cause, other humans, or an ORGANIZATION in their very face.

  Those out already your LEAVING should tell you, you are not dedicated to a GROUP of people, dedicated to the ONE and ONLY ORGANIZATION God is using on earth( despite that same organization working directly and indirectly for Satan's organization).

  How does the ONLY Jehovah's organization on earth work directly or indirectly for Satan's organization? Don't forget, there are only two biggest organization on EARTH.

  1. God's Organization(WTBTS)

  2. Satan's Organization (all other organization you can think off on earth)

  But for God's earthly organization to function in any lands on earth owned and controlled by Satan's organization, God's organization must obtain LICENCE and article of Association prepared and stamped by MINISTERS and AGENTS of Satan's organization.

  So tell me how can this ORGANIZATION avoid working DIRECTLY or INDIRECTLY for Satan's organization?

  Awake October 1968 stated............ So the great majority of the generation to which Jesus was referring has already passed away in death. The remaining ones are approaching old age. And remember, Jesus said that the end of this wicked world would come before that generation passed away in death. This, of itself, tells us that the years left before the foretold end comes cannot be many.

  Now see this CLAUSE in the same magazine........Jesus was obviously speaking about those who were old enough to witness with understanding what took place when the "last days" began.

  Using the David Splane as an example, Born in 1944, baptized +/- late 1950 to early 1960. The one who conveyed the latest light on the "THIS GENERATION" doctrine. Applying the above CLAUSE which states..........

  (Jesus was obviously speaking about those who were old enough to witness with understanding what took place when the "last days" began).

  What emerge from the above

  1. David Splane was not 15 Years old and even not born to be included among those this CLAUSE is meant for. He was not alive to understand or witness anything

  2. As at the time of when this article (Awake October 1968) was written, David Splane was 24 years old he did not witnessed anything WORLD WAR 1 and was given birth to at the dying embers of WORLD WAR 2. So the CLAUSE above cannot be applied to HIM simply because he did not understand or witnessed anything.

  The watchtower article coming up after this week study article carries questions like this.....can you explain these prophecies? Contained in the heading of a box. One will be forced to ask David Splane, Did he understand the prophecies in his own time before he was used to convey the OVERLAPPING GENERATION doctrine?

  So if David Splane was not 15 years old was not as old as 70 years and didn't understand or witnessed anything during the start of last day(1914) then it safe to say the teaching is indeed an OVERLAPPING GENERATION, JWS no longer teach "THIS GENERATION " but "THESE GENERATIONS"
